GGG would have dogwalked and punished small Mayweather all night, remember May was a business man for the most part. That Kell Brook fight really showed the difference between a 147 fighter and a natural middle weight.Last edited by Haka; 03-20-2022, 04:29 PM.Comment

The TS has asked a specific question, we then answer it with examples that fit that criteria.
You're listing examples that don't fit the criteria.
Or maybe you're just brain dead? I don't know.Comment

And the irony is you praise Manny for beating a shadow of Oscar that was 20lbs lighter and 2 yrs later as a massive win you're a joke kiddo.Comment

Mannys career is full of monkey BS, you got to be a monkey not to see all the man-made handicaps he put on his opponents, lucky for him if he fought them legit no handicap he would have 15 or so losses instead of 8, dam 8 loses, lost in the beginning, lost in the middle and left the sport on a loss, Manny was a loser.Last edited by Roadblock; 03-20-2022, 05:19 PM.Comment

so according to your logic it’s impossible for a fighter in a lower weight class to fight for a world title in a higher weight because that fighter is heavier than him....that’s bollocks leonard was inside the light middleweight limit so he might have fought a fighter who weighed in the middle weight but leonard was a weight below.....boxing is done on weight limits and leonard was never more than a light middleweight before he faced off with hagler......both those fights were not for titles or accolades so there is no stipulation on what weight they came in to that ring and if both those fighters ( marcotte , Geraldo ) came in over the agreed weight then that’s bollocks as I said........I suggest you look up fighting outside your weight class as reference
Boxing matches are set at weight classes with weight limits.
It's then on the fighter themselves if they choose to weigh under that limit. Immediate example springing to mind is Ray Robinson Vs Jake Lamotta, Robinson weighing in at 144 for the first bout, still a Middleweight bout.
Regular occurrence back then, plethora of examples of guys coming in way under the weigh class limit. An example from the modern era would be Pacquaio vs Margarito, a Jr Middleweight bout where Pacquaio weighed in under the Welterweight limit at 144lbs, still doesn't change it from being a Jr Middleweight bout.
Very simple stuff mate, Leonard's fight with Hagler wasn't his first Middleweight bout. That's not a debatable topic it's a matter of fact. He had two previous Middleweight bouts, one with Marcotte and one with Geraldo. What Leonard himself weighed for those Middleweight bouts is totally irrelevant.Comment

Understand this in boxing if they cannot hit you they cannot win.Comment
