Weight is a massive leveler in this sport, but it also matters who they are, Kell Brook lol is no reference and does not represent the elite, put Leonard in that fight and its a different story, and Floyd would have been on his toes and moving all night, and Floyd keep a great pace for 12 rounds, if Floyd stood with GGG like he did Maidana he would get killed, but if GGG cannot catch him what is the scores then, business man is another ****** comment, all the top guys are businessmen
Understand this in boxing if they cannot hit you they cannot win.
However FMW had never any intention of taking that fight so you might aswell talk about fairy tales.Comment

Your opening statement isn't coherent, I'd suggest trying again.
Boxing matches are set at weight classes with weight limits.
It's then on the fighter themselves if they choose to weigh under that limit. Immediate example springing to mind is Ray Robinson Vs Jake Lamotta, Robinson weighing in at 144 for the first bout, still a Middleweight bout.
Regular occurrence back then, plethora of examples of guys coming in way under the weigh class limit. An example from the modern era would be Pacquaio vs Margarito, a Jr Middleweight bout where Pacquaio weighed in under the Welterweight limit at 144lbs, still doesn't change it from being a Jr Middleweight bout.
Very simple stuff mate, Leonard's fight with Hagler wasn't his first Middleweight bout. That's not a debatable topic it's a matter of fact. He had two previous Middleweight bouts, one with Marcotte and one with Geraldo. What Leonard himself weighed for those Middleweight bouts is totally irrelevant.
with your logic it can never be possible for a fighter to fight someone a weight heavier is what your saying lol.......Leonard has never been at that weight he was below the middleweight weight range

look at the topic and question it clearly states at that weight.....leonard has never been at either just over 154 up to 160 at any time before the hagler fight which means he was never a middleweight.

My "logic" is very simple, if you have 2 bouts at a 160 limit vs middleweights, then return to that weight class years later that isn't your first fight at that weight.
Yes, the topic; "Name The Fighters In Boxing History That Moved Up A Weight Class & Fought & Beat A Prime Elite Fighter Their 1ST Fight At The Weight"
You see how the emphasis is on "1st" there? In capitals? It's highlighting it must be their first bout at the new weight class.
Ray Leonard had two Middleweight bouts, vs Middleweights, who weighed 160 lbs and 155lbs.
This means, categorically, and factually, that his fight with Marvin Hagler wasn't his first Middleweight bout.
This isn't a debatable topic, it's a matter of fact. It's cut and dry, black and white.
