But he didn’t want to and seems upset he messed up big time…Hearn picked the wrong horse as Fury took America and Joshua was annihilated and now is ‘titleless Joe’

Its pretty easy to sell these big-goof HW's to be honest, especially to the British public ; Dereck Chisora PPV's is sufficient proof. I think Eddie Hearn needs to focus on making Devin Haney and Demetrius Andrade superstars and getting them proper fights to prove that he's a marketing genius, I'll wait.

No-title Joshua fighting a binman will still make more than Fury though, that’s Hearn’s point.

Fury is far bigger than AJ globally and now AJ fans don’t even have the “AJ sells out stadiums” line, Fury just did it too.

Eddie Hearn really wishes Fury was his fighter.

AJ was marketable to casual fans in the UK but that’s been dwindling for a couple of years and fans now know Fury is the real top level fighter that goes abroad and best champs. First time they took AJ out of him comfort zone to USA, he got splattered.

Eddie knows it deep down that Fury is the man but he can milk AJ a few more times.

Bolded is very true. But Hearn is still wrong. I think the heavyweight game is starting to change. I think two fights, Usyk v Joshua and Joyce v Dubois may have been a good indicator that a lot of the fighters hyped up to the British public, really aren't what they seem. I run into a lot more Brits who have become super sceptical of many British heavyweight contenders. Fury maybe an awkward potato but he's proven himself, one more fight against a solid international name like Hrgovic/Ajagba/Ortiz (though old) will only further cement his legitimacy among American audiences. I also don't think Fury would have benefited at all from Hearn's management, it actually would have sent him backwards. Fury getting in with Wilder fresh off his hiatus was a great move on his part and Hearn, if he was his promoter, would have done everything in his power to ensure that didnt happen. Eddie has a likeable persona and the backing of Sky Sports, however he no longer has the latter and now only really benefits from the small audience of idiots on Youtube who listen to his tripe. He hasn't been involved in any major fights for the last six months outside of the bones thrown to him by Canelo. He's actually looking more and more complete out of his depth, this comment proves it.

Fury made more in his last fight than AJ did

Fury will receive the biggest cut from a purse bid in boxing history

Fury was the highest paid boxer in the world in 2019, the last normal year before covid, confirmed by Forbes.

              so you’re wrong.

I almost said that I agree totally, but my objection to that point is that Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois, etc, aren’t exactly really well renowned round here.

By way of contrast, Whyte, AJ, and Chisora (as you say) are massive. It might be that some credit goes to Hearn, but really, I think the biggest thing is that SkySports is the most powerful sports brand in the UK, and that’s where these guys have featured. Even Fury got catapulted to the really big leagues by fighting on Sky PPV (talking vs. Wladimir)

You brought a excellent argument, namely the end of his partnership with SKYSPORTS ; but I guess that had something to do with DAZN becoming available in the UK, I cant say. I think that the American audience has already accepted Tyson as the HW champion, Toprank and ESPN have done a great job covering up his abuse of steroids and all his cheating, Eddie Hearn is pretty good at that also but hes not better than Bob Arum at that.
