A big problem in this country is people not acknowledging talent and thinking success should only be afforded to those deemed "worthy" or appropriate. Joshua was indicative of the fake, multicultural, London centric vision that companies don't really believe in but will sell for profit. Even as a London born guy who hangs around a whole bunch of different types of people, its something I will never get behind.
It’s the reason I never took to Joshua, it’s all very well having a wholesome message if you actually believe what you’re saying. Like I fully believe the Bruno that the public fell in love with was like that away from the camera as well. With Joshua it always came across as a manufactured persona to maximise wider popularity and ticket sales.
Some of the things Fury has said in the past are awful but at least people know no one is putting words in his mouth. A genuine bum hole can come across better than a fake nice guy.

When public opinion started changing and AJ dropped the stay humble persona and began some of the most cringe trash talking ever, that just seemed to make it worse. Like he just switched one personality designed to gain popularity for another designed to win popularity back, instead he’s just left in no mans land with fans doubting the integrity of anything he says.

This was encapsulated perfectly in a nutshell at the Black Lives Matter demonstration. He made a speech from a piece of paper written by someone else, then unscrupulous Eddie bricked himself that AJ’s speech would effect his popularity and PPV sales. So he totally undermined him basically saying it wasn’t joshuas words on that statement and he didn’t really mean it. At which point Joshua said nothing seemingly towing the line.
Problem with trying to be all things to all people is that you can end up not really having an identity of your own.
