I doubt even 1% of the Russian population know who Bivol is.

This was supposed to be the same with recycling plastic since the eighties - if every household does it. 40 years later and - micro-plastics are in every living organism including human foetus and even fish 1000 miles from the ocean up the Amazon river. Point being that government level action is always needed either with or without small acts. But little "jabs" will not work without the governments doing everything they can do - and that isn't happening.

It's good that the USA has decided to stop buying Russian oil but European nations still buy Russian oil and gas [the profit funding the war].
