Whyte is playing mind games and forcing Tyson to carry the promotion of the fight on his back.

Nah i think he is just giving them the big screw you!!! They cut his purse % by 10% & he gets no UK PPV money so understandably so he stayed in Portugal to train because he wants to be ready to try & collect that extra 4 million to the winner…

Fury actually told a reporter this is his last fight and then he is retiring.

I'm not sure if it was in jest, but I'm sure he will want to fight Usyk and/ or Joshua before hanging up the gloves.

Whyte isn’t doing himself any favors. Fury is gonna unload on him like he did in the second Wilder fight.

I hope Mr. Rude Bwoy beef patty eating Whyte is ready for the dirty tactics this money hungry PED infested MMA sadist will throw his way. Let Fury, the greedy mental eating meandering Neanderthal promote the fight on his own. He’s gotten paid lovely to do so.

Whyte on the other hand is most likely keeping things on that Marvin Hagler scenario: training in solitary confinement with no distractions - with big mission thinking and planning in the forefront of everything.

At least I hope so. Awkward Whyte is capable of giving this guy the fight of his life, but White’s gotta believe it and train like he believes it, and be ready to return the inevitable on the sly…..Fury buys precious time in between rounds ….and eventually fresh boar meat with his habitual dirty fighting tactics….Whyte BETTER be ready.

Fury is the type of man who could do his own ring introductions, probably do his own commentary while he's fighting.

I am a Tyson Fury fan but he has never dressed like he should.

If Whyte's training camp is in Portugal then coming over for any press conference is a lot of effort and money plus disruption to his camp. Fury is also the master of mind games so maybe it is in Whyte's best interest not to get involved. Maybe Whyte can do a TV link up or pre-recorded video message if needed, but I feel its best Whyte stays away and let Fury do all the work for his 80%. A previous post re Whyte not promoting the fight suggested he will miss out on raising his profile, but his tactics of not doing press conferences "Is News" and draws attention to who is Fury fighting so can be looked at either way. Keep up the silent protest Whyte...

In theory, that comment should be a big deal.

But, generally, people understand not to pay attention to what Fury says

I think you’ll find the colourful dress sense is to hide his lack of condition at this point in time .
