boxing could learn a lot from sumo. In sumo the ref is the only judge and carries a wakasashi short sword. If he gives 3 wrong decisions in his career he’s still expected to commit ritual suicide and disembowel himself in the ring. i’ve been watching boxing for over 40 years and i’ve never heard of a bookies refunding all bets due to a bad decision before - apparently paddy power refunded all bets on Caterall. unbelievably bad decision. the BBBC need to have a long serious look at the accountability of their judges as they’ve lost a lot of credibility the world over because of this decision. right up there with CJ Ross’s draw for Mayweather Canelo. unreal.

The solution to this is very simple but yet many morons on this site don’t agree with this solution. Which is declare a unofficial winner the night of the fight then a second scoring of the fight with video by judges to officially announce the winner of the fight the next day or that night. This isn’t rocket science

There's too much talk about this fight as a robbery. Taylor needs to rematch Catterall. Andre Ward said it perfectly. Taylor is going to hear Catterall's name everywhere he goes, for perhaps the rest of his life. Taylor is the better fighter. Taylor needs to decisively defeat Catterall to remove the stain on his record. Plus, a rematch is the biggest fight out there for Taylor. Sorry; Taylor vs. Teo or Barboza are not as big a fights.

Taylor keeps calling out Crawford...he needs to stop that ASAP. Crawford beats him from pillar to post without a doubt. AND WE ALL KNOW THAT IF THAT WAS CRAWFORD WHO KNOCKED HIM DOWN...IT'S OVER!!! HE'S NOT MAKING IT OUT OF THE ROUND. HE'S A KILLER!!
Taylor stay away from Crawford unless you truly want you @ss beat.
Ask your countryman Ricky Burns about that Crawford work.

The ref must have waved his finger at Caterall at least once and sometimes twice every round - Taylor was guilty too but I give him more benefit of the doubt because he didn't clinch much in previous fights.
I saw highlights of Caterall's previous fight and he fought cleanly but based on this evidence I've got zero interest in watching him going forwards. This was potentially a similar upset to that of Kombosos but at least that fight wasn't a clinch fest and I'm happy to watch George going forward.
We must have been watching a very different fight.
Where are you from in the UK by the way?

You do have to laugh though when Ndongo is one of your best wins. Just shows how shockingly bad Crawford's resume is. Don't forget the great Jeff Horn either.
