But Whyte has fought some serious competition, and this moment is not to big for him. I find it very amusing that all the people who said Wilder was a fraud with zero defense and only moderate skills now say that Fury's trilogy with him proves how much better Fury is than anyone else in the division. Whyte is a legit fighter with the ability to capitalize on mistakes. He has power in both hands, and is willing to do the grunt work in the ring in the same way Fury does. There is zero reason to not give Whyte a serious chance in this unless you have a personal routing interest.

Fury should win. He is still larger and will use his heavier build to his advantage. If he can recover from Wilder's bombs, he should be able to recover from clean punches from Whyte. He has better (but not perfect) defense and has the power to hurt with a single punch. No HW in this generation is even close to Fury in being able to control the ring except for Usyk. Fury somehow manages to have real good stamina for a man his size, it is incredible. But a ****y, out of shape, overconfident Fury would be ripe for an upset against someone like Whyte who has good body work, patience, nice power, big fight experience and absolutely zero to lose with everything to gain.
I do agree with most of what you have said. In addition regarding Fury recovering from Wilder’s knock downs, people are not considering the fact that Wilder ain't a body puncher so Fury still had a lot of energy left. If Wilder had worked Fury's body I don't think he would have recovered that easily or even at all. Besides, Wilder’s right hand only carry devastating power if he was able to swing them from a long range. Thus all things considered Fury's wins over Wilder didn't say much about Fury but more about Wilder.

All objective boxing fans and experts know that Fury's resume is nowhere near that of true heavyweight legends. It's that this era is so poor that beating someone like Wilder who had refused to unify or fight other top contenders seems legendary in the eyes of his fans.

A slick Fury got put down more twice and a coming forward Fury got knocked down 4 times by Wilder, 2 times apiece in rematch and trilogy. Fury is seriously overrated imo. I am not hating on him but just stating the facts.

Honestly Honest, I very much doubt you've watched him fight. I mean really watched him fight - not just the highlights.

You can spot them a mile off. "Out cold by an old man doe". "Knocked out by a robot doe". Do you know who Joshua and Povetkin are? They're two of the best of the last 10 years! Surely you couldn't be that fkin dumb!?!

Any opinion on how the different styles might work on the night? Oh yeah, you've absolutely no idea!

Thank ****. It was starting to look like this fight wasnt happening.

I heavily favour Fury in this one of course, but I have a feeling its going to be harder work for him than most people expect.

…..you can apply this to many Fury fans on here ,if anything the ones who say it’s going to be close seem to have watched boxing a lot more …

Fury will win this, but he will have to really work for it. Whyte isn't Wilder. He knows how to box, he actually throws bodyshots. He's also big and strong.

This will be a good fight.

Coppinger says the WBC still has to rule on one non standard clause in what should have been the standard purse bid contract, looks like Bob And Warren tried to slip something in and got caught by the lawyers. Assume they will rule against Whyte as they always do.

                    Anyway terrific fight.

I think most people understand boxing isn't like running. No-one is just 'better'. Styles make fights and anything can happen in the heavyweights.

Do they sound like cliches? Well they're cliches for a reason!

Whyte will give Fury a fight. He's been in at a high level, he's experienced, and hopefully he arrives fit and ready

Fury should win. He'll be a significant betting favourite. But anyone's who's watched Whyte will know that he is more than capable of putting up a fight.

But then there are the morons who are 100% certain that it's not even a contest. Have they never watched boxing or something?

FFS Wilder just made fight of the year against Fury. He can't box and he's tailor made for Fury!
