I suspect this is Whyte just trying to annoy Warren and Arum

They petitioned the WBC to lower his cut from the normal 30% to 20% on the basis of him allegedly not being worth it
What better response than to sign at the eleventh hour and leave selling the fight to their side? If as Arum and Warren claimed he isn't an attraction then there shouldn't be a problem

What I'm curious to see now is will he continue his minimum engagement to spite the promoters or try and get some sort of edge engaging in mind games

I think the fleet footed pitty pat Tyson Fury is a thing of the past. If he comes forward "godzilla style' and walks him down like he did Wilder (and I'm a huge Wilder fan), then he is going to knock Whyte out in devastating fashion within 3-4 rounds. Fury / Sugar Hill have turned me into a believer. Eddie Hearn has to be pissed he's not promoting this fight. Probably just about as mad as he was for not being able to promote the Khan / Brook fight. Seems like he's slowly getting squeezed out not just in the USA but in the UK as well. He better pull all the stops to get this 2 fight deal with Redhead over the line or this will be the beginning of the end. Ol' Hearn came to the USA and kicked the bear up his azz. Now the bear and all his buddies are kicking back. Damn son!!

It's about time they finally got this over the finish line. This is an intriguing match. Two HUGE men going at it. I expect Fury to topple Whyte, but the great thing about boxing - especially the HW division - is one perfectly placed punch can make all the difference. Tyson hasn't fought anyone similar to the Body Snatcher since Chisora way back in 2014. Though Tyson has changed up his game quite a bit since then. Of course, there's no one like the Gypsy King, so Dillian will have his hands full. Another good scrap to look forward to!

Fury is not going to be able to just march in & mug Whyte like he did Wilder because Whyte is a big man himself at 250+. And he better not take Whyte lightly - dude is a real fighter, has stepped up to Joshua, Chisora twice, Helenius, Parker, Rivas & Povetkin twice. Fury is big and can maul but he ain't got that one-hitter quitter type power to stretch Whyte like Povetkin did...and Fury is hittable. He matched up well with Wilder and should be favored but Whyte is live in this fight.

The diva Golovkin is the one holding things up. As per a report from ESPN.

All I want to know is if there is a rematch clause...and then is there a re-rematch clause for a trilogy ?

If so, it doesn't matter who wins the first or second bout.

So after all that crying about purse splits and who was promoting the fight he signed at the last second like he was told to.
