When he stepped up to Jacobs and Canelo he looked like a good fighter but nothing we hadn’t seen before.
It’s a fact that Canelo owns GGG’s legacy, MW straps, and 0 for all time. A third fight and a KO win would be the cherry on top but not necessary.
Well , he won both fights against a Roided Clenelo, that makes Clenelo pretty pedestrian.

          he did not, you muppet

Golovkin fans are a new breed... they think they can change history, just by insisting that it did not happen LMAO

          from the other thread...

Golovkin was FORCED to fight off the back foot

Golovkin could not get his natural game going in either of those fights... and in the rematch, his trademark style/gameplan got dismantled

the main point in this... it is clearly obvious why that happened, there is no debate whatsoever... because the exact same thing happened to EVERY SINGLE OPPONENT since Chavez

they could not get their game going... they struggled to stamp their mark on the fight, or make any serious impact... they were hesitant, and could not commit... and their usual strengths/gameplan, went right out the window... just like Golovkins

and it is clearly obvious why that happened

Canelo is VERY sharp, and VERY punishing... you need a super-tight game with him... you cannot make any mistakes, and your options are reduced

it is fkn hilarious that never occurred to Golovkin fans... just like it is fkn hilarious that they have no idea that ring generalship and defence are actual official scoring criteria... it is clearly obvious who the ring general was... it was the guy who completely defused his opponents strengths, forced him to use plan B, C, and D... and then stopped him from climbing back into the fight... and it is also easy to see who had the better defence, and who landed the cleaner/sharper punches

all that " stand and fight like a Mexican " talk from Golovkin, that totally backfired on him in the rematch... some Golovkin fans tried saying that was a trick... to sucker Canelo into coming forward, so that Golovkin could outbox him off the back foot truly hilarious

Golovkin has nothing to cry about... his own trainer told him to stop backing up and fight Canelo, because he was losing the fight... HE KNOWS that his trademark bodywork was totally absent... HE KNOWS that he could not hunt/trap Canelo by cutting off the ring effectively... and when Canelo did back onto the ropes, GOLOVKIN KNEW that he was completely ineffective... HE KNOWS that he missed over a thousand punches in those fights...

... and I will tell you something else that he knows... HE KNOWS all of that " stand and fight like a Mexican " nonsense, totally backfired...

" you wanted him to stand there and fight, but then you ran. You said they ran, but then you ran. You can’t do that and expect them to give you the fight. Do you think the judges didn't see that? " ~ Roy Jones Jnr

Golovkin needs to stop crying, because he has NO excuses... he could not get his game going in that fight

GGG is a good fighter. Unfortunately for him there were no big 160 names and he had to wait until the 154 stars moved up, nobody was in a rush to fight him. I thought he edged out both Canelo fights but I wouldn't call them robberies.

Now any recognizable name is calling him out because of the perception that he is old and inactive. Don't remember anyone chasing after him in his prime. Match up with Hagler would had been a great fight. Both guys have punching power, great chins and technic, Hagler edges him with conditioning.

Lara, Ward, Saunders... Andrade and Charlo have been calling him out for years

sorry... but that is just the same old gggarbage that people blurt out whenever his name is mentioned

                no idea why that happens

making excuses for his poor resume most likely

The only one that called him out was Ward because GGG said that he would fight anyone from 154 - 168. I don't remember Lara, Saunders or Andrade chasing GGG. Maybe now but not back then.

you are a total shlthead, I hate you fanboy clowns

your hero was a total hypejob, he lied to you for YEARS... but you are happy to burn BETTER fighters, rather than admit that you were wrong

Golovkin had THREE opportunities to fight Saunders for the undisputed middleweight championship of the world

Saunders was the WBO middleweight champion, Golovkin held the WBC WBA IBF... that fight was for Golovkin's "dream" (his words)

                      1) Golovkin ducked Saunders with a OBVIOUS $1.5m low-ball, and then quickly ran off to fight Dominic Wade

Golovkin totally refused to negotiate, which is NOT how you make a fight... that is unheard of, even Mayweather negotiates in good faith

and immediately after that fight, Saunders watched Kell Brook make $4-5 million

that is a absolute 100% duck

                      2) Saunders signed to fight Golovkin in Kazakhstan, but Golovkin understandably fought Canelo

                      3) when Canelo tested positive and his fight with
Golovkin was cancelled, Saunders immediately offered to fight Golovkin for the undisputed middleweight championship of the world... Golovkin was presented with a golden opportunity to achieve his "dream" (his words)... the very second that Saunders said he would be available in June, there was no other fight to make... that was an OBVIOUS no-brainer

scrubs like Munguia, Spike, and Vanes... should never have been mentioned... there was only one fight to make, and it was for the middleweight championship of the world

Saunders was running around with Golovkin's " dream "..... calling him Pvssy-Borat..... and presenting Golovkin with pens at multiple press conferences, to replace the pens that Golovkin kept losing

that was also an absolute 100% duck

you are a total wanker kid, for TWO reasons...

                      1) there is no justification whatsoever for your claim that Saunders ducked Golovkin... you completely made that up, you dumb cvnt

                      2) SAUNDERS SIGNED TO FIGHT GOLOVKIN IN KAZAKHSTAN... so your claim that Saunders ducked him is not only a lie, it is fkn ridiculous... stop being so ****** ya dumb
                      fanboy

by 2014, Sergio Martinez had enjoyed a long distinguished career... he was a long reigning champion, and he had earned his place at the top

Golovkin, on the other hand... had done absolutely NOTHING, you dumb disrespectful cvnt... he was just starting to step onto the world stage, and had fought NOBODY

                      1) Golovkin had done absolutely nothing to justify stepping in front of Martinez' money-fight with Cotto... that fight had been brewing for years... and Cotto was the only money-fight available to Martinez, because Mayweather and Pacquiao would not fight him

FACT: Golovkin has STILL done nothing to justify stepping in front
of Martinez' money-fight with Cotto... Cotto would still get that fight today... Golovkin does not have a signature win or a career-defining fight, and he is not a draw... Cotto would still get that fight today LMAO

FACT: Cotto and Martinez BOTH achieved more than Hypekin did... who the fcuk is Golovkin to demand anything from established stars?... and who the fcuk are you to insist that established champions must roll out the red carpet whenever Golovkin demands something, especially walking away from a life-changing payday like Cotto

                      2) HBO executives said that Martinez had agreed to fight Golovkin after Cotto... so once again you are totally full-of-shlt, ya dumb kid

Noddy, how old were you in 2014 ? ... can you even remember that... because that is the second time you threw a BETTER fighter under the bus, just so you could blurt out excuses to explain why your hero has a shltty resume and no signature win... GTFOH

Froch was a super-middleweight, and he had retired... stop being so ****** kid

don't think you can get away with talking shlt and making up stories on this website... especially if doing so will disrespect fighters

and nope, haven't finished with you yet...

for YEARS, Golovkin ran around promising that he would fight... " anyone from 154-168 "...

everywhere he went, you would hear Golovkin spouting that bullshlt... " anyone from 154-168 "...

and... he specifically mentioned fighting Ward at 168, and Canelo at 154... Golovkin said that he was targeting those fights...

Golovkin Aims High and Low: Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154

but, one year later... Bullshltkin crawled up his own ass, and totally refused to negotiate on weight with the SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo

Golovkin Rejects Idea of Catch-Weight For Cotto, Canelo
IBF/IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (34-0, 31 KOs) has no intention of agreeing to a catch-weight against the winner of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KOs) vs. Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KOs), who battle for the WBC middleweight championship on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

                      now, get this...

a few months after totally refusing to drop a single pound for the junior middleweight SUPERSTARS, 153lb Cotto and 155lb Canelo... Bullshltkin stated that he was willing to fight at 154, but nobody will step up

A FRUSTRATED GOLOVKIN WILLING TO FIGHT AT 154LBS OR 168LBS BUT ASKS "WHO" WILL FIGHT ME?

YOU CANNOT MAKE THAT SHlT UP !!

Bullshltkin lied to his idiot fans for YEARS... and now you morons are telling lies and making up stories to justify his shltty resume LMAO

                      now you can leave
