    It’s a fact that Canelo owns GGG’s legacy, MW straps, and 0 for all time. A third fight and a KO win would be the cherry on top but not necessary.

    that is exactly what I said on the other thread...

    I have no interest whatsoever, in watching Golovkin lay another egg

    he shat the bed EVERY time he stepped up to fight a world-class opponent

    Golovkins only world-class opponents:
    * Jacobs
    * Canelo
    * Derevyanchenko

    the fights where Golovkin under-performed again HUGE underdogs:

    * Jacobs
    * Canelo
    * Derevyanchenko

    you don't need to be a rocket scientist to do the math on that one

    that is the dictionary definition of a can-crusher

    ATG killer > can-crusher... Hagler brutalizes him

He went to Germany where as you know they were really pushing Felix Sturm. He avoided GGG like the plague too. Finally when GGG got to the States, he did well early on. The middle weight Division just wasnt good. Kind of like when Hopkins finally got on top. Roy and James Toney had moved up to 168 and Michael Nunn had gotten into trouble. However GGG got rid of everone put before him. Then he fought Brook. Brook did well ealry on but GGG just said frget boxing and went to him. He beat Danny Jacobs . Everyome who believes Jacobs won , are just casuals. Jacobs does enough to be competitive then complains forever. Same with Marquez. He beat Canelo the first fight, then lost a close decision the next one. Those results look better everyitme Canelo fights now. Devry won that fight in my opinion. GGG didnt look good that night. I think he should have moved up to 168 before that fight. Now a Prime GGG vs Hagler would be fun. He was a better version of Juan Roldan. Hagler would be just too accurate and could box better than most thought. Unanimous decsion win for Marvelous . GGG just gets alot of hate from the Mayweather type fans who dont like anyone who they thinks cant fight. The reverse racism punks who dont like Canelo either.However Mayweather would not have taken him on , i bet you that.

      sorry, but this is just standard gggarbage...

      1) the ONLY guy who ducked Golovkin is Sturm, nobody else... that ducking nonsense was just marketing hype from his sleazy promoter... when Ward confronted Loeffler about that garbage the little weasel crawled up his own ass and tried to blame Sanchez... that was tard-fodder for a very immature fanbase

      2) at 154, he would not have been ggg... he would have only been gg... Mayweather would have beaten Golovkin, and only the casual fans - who know nothing about styles/levels/weight - would suggest otherwise... FACT: Canelo is a better boxer/fighter than Golovkin, everyone can clearly see that now... and again, only casual fans would argue with that... and we all saw what happened to Canelo at 154

      at 154, I give Golovkin no chance against Mayweather... not even a punchers chance

        Yup I agree GGG had a great punch selection and that right uppercut when landed right was devastating. There's a reason why canelo vacated his wbc belt and waited till GGG looked vulnerable. He has massive power and its a shame there was no real competition at 160 for him but he couldve moved up . prime ggg would beat these current crop of title holders .

          Haters keep trashing him, but Canelo needed a robbey to "beat" this man.

            He was really good, had power and a great jab. He also should have a win over p4p King Canelo.

              Yeah even tho it was an unofficial win it's hard not to acknowledge it. He beat the p4p King and arguably won the second time.

                If Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm would have fought him, he would have been a big name a couple years before he ended up on HBO. He lost a lot of good years fighting his way up against guys not on his level. He beat Canelo in the first fight, he beat Jacobs, the Derevyanchenko fight was razor thin close and he was legit hurt for the only time I have ever seen in his career.

                He is clearly almost finished and I would expect him to lose to Canelo clearly this time and then retire but I would love to see him vs Mungia, that would be an absolute war and I think he would still win but take some heavy shots getting it done.

                  I always liked both GGG and Canelo. They both make a good fight. I just think G is getting old and should avoid Canelo. As far as comparing G to the greats. Its anyones guerss. He could hang with any of them. Think Sugar Ray Lenard would of been a tuff fight for him though.

                    I think Hagler beats him but it would be a hell of a fight to watch.

                      casual fans are still drinking the koolaid LMAO

                      you guys who think that Golovkin can beat Hagler, are total muppets

                      1) Hagler is a ATG killer... Golovkin, is NOT !

                      2) Hagler beat GREAT fighters, he was a killer... Golovkin could not get a clean win over Jacobs, Canelo, or Derevyanchenko

                      3) he under-performed EVERY time he stepped up in class, and could not get a clean win over ANY of the three world-class opponents that he faced... and yet, you guys think that he can somehow beat ATG middleweight Hagler ... HOW ffs??? ... LMAO

                      4) aside from those three opponents, Golovkin's best win is Lemieux lol

                      5) Power... is the easiest intangible to counter in boxing... it is easier to contain than speed, easier than will, easier than ringIQ... all of them

                      also... there are a number of ways to defuse a puncher, and Hagler knew all of them... and it has been that way, since Gentleman Jim Corbett

                      you're dreaming

                      as I have been saying for years, casual fans know nothing about styles/levels/weight
