Brook was bigger than GGG on fight day. No debate about that because they both stepped on the same scales.

In terms of a British fighter it's either Brook or AJ imo.

Brook through just poor career choices and ****** decisions with a sprinkle of laziness.

AJ through refusing to get a trainer who could get the best out of his immense natural talent and sticking with "A, B, C" Rob.

joshua was never super talented. he easily could have been an audley harrison but he developed solid boxing skills to win him most fights. beating a guy like usyk would take him hundreds of years of study and he would be dead by then i assume

That really shows how much he threw away. I'm not getting into any "if he'd faced Crawford before GGG..." or any of that. That's not what I'm talking about.

What I'm talking about is that the guy allowed himself to be smashed up so badly - thanks to his genius plan to step up two weight classes and face a prime GGG - that his reputation fell below that of someone he'd comfortably beaten.

Obviously the Brook of 2020 was a completely different animal from the Brook of 2014, but how does your rep get so low that someone you beat is regarded as being more of a test? Even if Porter wasn't as shopworn as Kell.

Even when he fought Errol Spence, he was initially outboxing Spence and was ahead on points before his glass eyes started to give out. Yet now people talk about him like he was always domestic level.

That guy could have been someone, but seemed to really sabotage his own career. A lot of it was through chasing Khan... at least he got to put that to bed tonight.

            Andrew Golota
People say GGG has an otherworldly jab..
Golota's was the best I've ever seen....when he used it.
Dude was a beast when he was not having mental breakdowns.

            Kell Brook
He's always in tip top shape. Had talent (although rarely used it vs quality opponents).
Hard to say if had talent enough, in his prime, to make much noise at the top.
Seems like he went out of his way to make sure no one found out.
            Terrible management.

            Tommy Morrison
The HW version of Gatti. You hit me, I'll hit you, may the best man win.
I assume staying focused and dedicated was a problem for him.
Big if but if he had a better chin

            Terry Norris
Dude really could have been an ATG.
His chin just wouldn't allow it.

            GGG
Take away Nelo and there is nothing.
For being so old, he's playing catch up to Young Nelo

He's got a lot of talent, he doesnt have a lot of skill.

Usyk is light years ahead of him in terms of skill but AJ could win the rematch, not saying its my pick, but its not beyond conceivable.

Thing with AJ is, the guy can crack. I know that's not everything (see: Wilder) but back in the day he was whacking people out of there, wasn't he? These days..... tbh I've forgotten what my point was, really.

But yeah, even if he's not the most talented, it'd take something to get him out of there on most nights. Big bastard, ain't he?

Joe, you can have your title shot when you pay those baby crabs their child maintenance. The only reason why crabs walk sideways is because you've fucked them all up the ass.

He wasn't outboxing Spence. The GGG fight probably ruined some of his potential legacy, but I don't know if it hurt him money-wise. He did OK there and still got the Khan fight, and maybe one more big payday too.

Sorry, I should have clarified more - I meant in the first half of the fight. I believe he was/would have been up on the cards after six. After that it started to slip away, then so did his eye sockets.
