Guaranteed to lose money IF the fight happens. Fury likely pulls out and drops the title over some fake injury.
Brick Top reminding Eddie Hills who the boss is.

Dillian is the guy who recently faked an injury to duck an opponent, and didn't you previously claim that Eddie would easily win the purse bid?
Not long before Fury and Usyk rid the HW division of Eddie Hearn, happy days.

Warrens bid makes no sense, which makes me believe he knows the fight isn't happening.Comment

the PPV will be 24.99 at least
it has to sell at least 1.3m ppv buys to maybe break even.
£31m purse, the undercard, the event itself, promoting the thing, the venue...
if it sells 1.3m buys @ £20, that's £26m.
Assume it sells out the principality, 80k attendance, that was $10.4m revenue when joshua fought parker in 2018, basically just north of £7m.
BT sports (not fisheyes) are taking the risk here.
It's funny how espn and bt sports are both ********, losing money on Fury just for vanity.
Eddie will be laughing. Whyte gets his £6m payday and eddie doesnt have to pay a penny for it. All he had to do was play the bidding mind games, much like how we see in football when clubs put in fake offers just to make their rival club pay more.
You’ve also missed off plenty of other revenue streams, like selling the rights to international TV networks, event sponsors etc etc,
so you have no idea how these things work. You work in Nando’s but you’re some financial expert?

the fight will happen and fury will still be undefeated and heading into the unification with Usyk who is going to flatten Joshua next time
Just admit it, you’re an Eddie fanboy. You’re just sad because his two biggest heavyweights are about to be sent into retirement soon, maybe within weeks of each other.Comment

It is very common in 80/20 splits for the A-side to make a side deal with their promoter to cap their purse at a pre-determined amount, to allow their promoter to overbid for the sake of making sure their side won the purse bid.
So for example (and we'll ignore the WBC's 10% winner's bonus to keep the math simple), in Hearn's 32 million bid, Fury would make 25. Fury's team may have made a side deal with Fury and said look, we'll guarantee you 25, but to make sure we win and can protect your interests, if you'll agree to cap your purse at 25, we'll go very aggressive.
So 8 to Whyte, 25 to Fury, you end up at 33, more than Hearn bid, but much less than the crazy number they threw out there. This kind of stuff goes on all the time in purse bids, so it wouldn't be anything unusual for Fury & his team to have had a secret agreement going into the purse bid.Comment

I’ve never seen so many guys so salty because their boy lost a purse bid.

These Hearn fanboys are pathetic man.

Even the concept of being a fan of a promoter, like Robbie Barrett is a fan of Hearn is is hilarious
I’m sure after Whyte and Joshua have both been annihilated, Robert is going to come on here and tell us Fabio Wardley is the man to beat Fury, such is Rob’s loyalty to Hearn.Comment
