You're the guy that thinks fighters still split PPV after a purse bid. You ran away and ducked the conversation after that huge embarrassing moment. Don't ever talk about purses again.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 01-29-2022, 04:45 AM.Comment

He also left out the networks share. This fight isn;t breaking even. This fight isn't happening. Fury is going to pull out and then try to fight the Joshua-Usyk winner instead of rescheduling the fight.Comment

Let’s just agree to disagree. Take care buddy
representing in what capacity? dillian has his own people, he manages himself, has his own legal team. Eddie's only real involvement outside of any fight where he promotes him on a matchroom show, is to talk to him. it's the same with canelo. If canelo fights on a pbc show, eddie has nothing to do with it, even if he talks to canelo as an interested party.Comment

They’re not even boxing fans, they’re Matchroom fans, it’s absolutely pathetic.

Even the concept of being a fan of a promoter, like Robbie Barrett is a fan of Hearn is is hilarious
I’m sure after Whyte and Joshua have both been annihilated, Robert is going to come on here and tell us Fabio Wardley is the man to beat Fury, such is Rob’s loyalty to Hearn.
Yeah it’s next man up with these re****, they’ll be telling us Conor Benn beats Crawford/Spence soon.

That’s all hypothetical though isn’t it mate. Let’s just keep to the facts. There’s no evidence to suggest any such deal was made.
It is very common in 80/20 splits for the A-side to make a side deal with their promoter to cap their purse at a pre-determined amount, to allow their promoter to overbid for the sake of making sure their side won the purse bid.
So for example (and we'll ignore the WBC's 10% winner's bonus to keep the math simple), in Hearn's 32 million bid, Fury would make 25. Fury's team may have made a side deal with Fury and said look, we'll guarantee you 25, but to make sure we win and can protect your interests, if you'll agree to cap your purse at 25, we'll go very aggressive.
So 8 to Whyte, 25 to Fury, you end up at 33, more than Hearn bid, but much less than the crazy number they threw out there. This kind of stuff goes on all the time in purse bids, so it wouldn't be anything unusual for Fury & his team to have had a secret agreement going into the purse bid.Comment

lol i have A levels in Economics, Maths, IT and an AS level in Further Statistics and then a degree in Information Maths. I've also been a company director for a long time. I'm not saying that to prove my 'boxing industry knowledge' but i esp know how finances work.
international rights and sponsors are only a small percent of revenue compared to ppv sales and the rest.
If they increase the ppv fee, it'll only reduce ppv sales. i would think as a yid, you'd know how this sh** works.
