Oh, I don't think they forced him into taking less. He was very happy the day before the purse, so they must've made an agreement at that point that he was happy with. The bid was simply to work out how much to pay Dillian (while winning the purse).
Keep in mind Fury's deal with Top Rank is coming to an end and they are financially (with ESPN) backing Warren's play. This might even be the last fight of his deal with TR. The last thing they want is for him to jump ship to MTK's front company, Probellum.... or worse, Hearn. I would be shocked if he makes less than a record purse for this fight.
Whether Tyson sticks with Top Rank who knows. He seems happy with them, but it may be Top Rank who have second thoughts as they don't really have any options for him in the US that sell big, all his big fights are in the UK now (or Saudi), so they probably have some thinking to do themselves about how much they can afford to pay him.Comment

Ke Ke Kah Kah
the only economics I posted about on my own, were offering 4-1 odds and taking bets on the fight.
when jabronis like you, and the lunatic talk total nonsense, I responded with facts and embarrassed your points, then tried to shift the talk back to the fight. You got Whyte right? How does he win? Do you want to bet with me? I’ll give you 4-1 odds.
All talk
Guys like You never pay up after they lose anywaysComment

I used to care about promoters and contracts and negotiation and all of that and it took something, albeit something small, but something away from my enjoyment of the sport. These comments are all so combative in nature. I think it still the best sport there is and I will buy this fight and be excited about it as well as about the implications of the fight.Comment

Ryabinsky WAS with Povetkin. You dummy.
None of those examples are the promotors own fighters, so yes, they would've been paid in full.
The promotors own fighters end up taking a hit to get the 'home advantage'. The away fighter would obviously get paid their full amount.
In this case Whyte will get the full amount, it's Fury that would've taken a deal on his end.Comment

Hahah muppet can’t even explain how he wins. You had to respond with literal gibberish. You are a child. You little whoppa. Jealous of me aren’t you green eyes. You get pink eye when you devour Hearns meatComment

No, he was with Sauerland at the time.
He signed with Ryabinsky after the Klitschko fight.
Your pent up anger is making you look silly.
Slow down, calm down. Behave like an adult.
Try apologising and maybe people will respect you more.Last edited by M312; 01-29-2022, 12:41 PM.Comment
