That's highly unlikely. He will get paid well, but he'll have taken a deal with extra if the fight sells well enough.

Purse bids end in guy with the higher split winning most the time as they take a deal to stay on their promotion. They very rarely get paid what full % of what was bid, sometimes just a fraction to ensure their promotion wins the bid.

    • Add PPV money & Fury probably breaks 35-40 million & White 10-13 million… i could see why Fury wants to go thru with this fight. If he wins the unification will happen by years end…

People forget the same situation with Pulev vs Whyte and Hearn didn’t over pay that one either . Same split I think .

        • Hearn still gets a cut of roughly 1.76 million. That leaves Whyte to pay for training, nutrition, etc. He should come out with at least 5 million all said and done. If not 5, damn close to it. He shouldn’t be crying about that

            • boxing is a lot less popular than it was 20 years ago. i wonder where the money comes from a lot of times. how are they going to clear 40 million for this with gate and PPV.

That’s an out and out lie. Fury is getting 80 percent of the purse to Whyte. Period. You think he’s taking only 15 or 20M so his promotion won the bid? Delusional take. He would rather get 30 and fight under matchroom. This is an easy fight for him. He’s getting 30+ million for this fight. Possibly more with the upside. If you believe otherwise, God bless.

and I hate talking economics on a BOXING site because who gives a ****? Talk about the fight. Tell me how Whyte wins. This is a new bizarre counting pockets shift that started a little over 10 years ago. Guys that can’t balance their cheque book talking about multi million dollar deals online. It’s hilarious.

You don't know what Fury's guarantee will be
                    And are you crazy?
No fighter gets 100% of the PPV

Top rank is worth billions ,where wouldn’t they get the money ? It’s losing a lot with businessman Fury because he’s not a mega draw and gave him ridiculous contract of millions they never made up for . They won’t clear enough to get any profit they are just protecting their most valuable fighter ,when Fury losses they are going to look dumb because Hearn made them pay a huge amount winning the promotion rights .
