I think you watch boxing for the wrong reasons. UFC or WWE might be more down the 'exciting' lane.

I watched the UFC hard for about 10 years but it’s not really my thing.

This is the fight to make if Haney is pricing himself out. I would have preferred to see the "undisputed" controversy resolved with a Kambosos/Haney fight, but it's looking more like Loma/Kambosos, and that's a more entertaining fight IMO.

I'm just telling you the facts.

                1. Haney put himself in position to challenge Lomachenko for the WBC belt.

                2. Lomachenko could have fought Teofimo Lopez AND still kept the belt, since the WBC hadn't ordered anything with Haney yet.

                3. Lomachenko's team instead requested Franchise Champion status and dropped the WBC belt, ensuring that the winner of Lomachenko vs Teofimo could never be ordered to fight Haney.

If you can point out where I am wrong then do so. Otherwise the truth is what it is.

You can believe that all you want. It's pretty funny a Basically you're saying Haney is a paper champion. Lomachenko has no issue fighting Haney. And apparently he demanded 5 million to fight Loma. He has zero chance against Loma.

                      1.

"Lomachenko claimed the vacant WBC belt in a 12-round win over England’s Luke Campbell last August, adding to a collection which already included the WBA and WBO lightweight straps. His approval to face Campbell for the available title came on the condition that the winner face Devin Haney, by way of his interim title-winning stoppage of unbeaten Zaur Abdullaev which came two weeks later.

That dynamic changed during last year’s convention in Cancun, when Lomachenko—once again through Top Rank—sought recognition as “Franchise” champion in exchange for giving up the green belt."

                      2.

"Haney’s upgrade came as a result of unified and now former WBC titlist Vasiliy Lomachenko (14-1, 10KOs) being named as the sanctioning body’s “Franchise” champion.

The move came at the request of Top Rank, Inc., whom promotes Lomachenko and is grooming the three-division titlist and pound for pound entrant for what was previously pitched as an undisputed lightweight championship showdown with the winner of the Dec. 14 clash between IBF titlist Richard Commey and unbeaten mandatory challenger Teofimo Lopez."

                      3.

"Haney was initially the mandatory challenger to world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko, who was elevated to the status of "franchise champion" - which allowed him to sidestep any obligation to fight Haney."
