Lomachenko Versus Kambosos, Says Mauricio Sulaiman ...

Did Mauricio let the cat out of the bag? In a recent interview with DAZN, Suleiman had this to say about "undisputed" and the "franchise belt":

"The franchise designation goes to the facts, it has led to Teofimo vs. Lomachenko, Lomachenko against Kambosos. It has led to Ryan Garcia being active, Devin Haney against a great champion Linares, then JoJo Diaz."

Why would Mauricio say that? Maybe he did mean to say Teofimo vs Kambosos but it sounds like a Freudian slip to me. He said this a few days ago, and it seems to me that events have already transpired behind the scenes to which the public are not yet privy. I keep think that Hearn is full of **** with his interviews and that he's saying what he's saying to keep the press and Haney fans from going ballistic. Even Haney's father said he has no idea what's going on with Kambosos but that he's ready to fight someone else and that someone else is Antuanne Russell. He said this yesterday or the day before.

So I really do think that the Lomachenko vs Kambosos fight is a done deal. Why wouldn't they announce it already? That's what I'd like to know ....

Lomachenko vs Kambosos is the fight to make IMO. I don’t really care for belts, I’m a 1 vs 2 guy. However Kambosos vs Haney is a good matchup too. I think Kambosos will simply defend against the guy that makes him the most $ tbh.

Yeah. I hope so. From what I've heard from a guy who's close to certain people in the industry, he says what I've thought for awhile, which is that Matchroom doesn't have the money that it used to. Hearn can't throw around the big bucks like he had before. And I think this is true considering Haney fought JoJo for $1 million. He fought Linares for three and JoJo for one. That says a lot.

And there's something about Kambosos and the way he talks about his next opponent that makes me think it'll be Loma. In an interview today, he said that "Haney can't crack and egg," and the guy he spoke to said that he believes Haney is tailor made. The interviewer also said that he believes Haney will be next, though George didn't confirm it or agree.

I suppose. According to Kambosos' own poll, Loma won by 10 percent. That's a lot, so most people want to see him fight Loma. I will be very surprised if he does pick Haney. My motive is that I want Loma to fight Kambosos because he has a better chance of beating him than does Haney. And then, when Loma has the belts again, I want to see Haney squirm knowing that he has to fight Loma. He might squirm so much that he ****s himself and flees to 40. That would be toooooo funny ....

You're probably right. Reason I want him to fight Loma next is because there's zero chance Haney fights Loma if he beats Kambosos. Loma will fight everyone.

I don’t have anything against Loma he’s just not that interesting to me. There’s no pre fight hype when he fights. He’s a great fighter but he bores me is all.
