This fight wouldnt cover Fury’s exorbitant purse even with the lowball split/guarantee he’d offer Ngannou.

I enjoy mma as a sport, I was into it before it became a commercial thing back when the closest thing we had in the usa was military martial arts programs and Jeet Kune Do concepts. But I really don’t like the ufc, I find both Dana white and the ufc geeky nerdy fanbase and their “real street fights bro” and the “just bleed” mentality so very low class. And now I see how much the heavyweight champ of that organisation makes….it just solidifies my resolve in never watching them again

We are talking a puncher who usually finishes people on the feet in the first round, switching it up and winning a decision while utilizing offensive wrestling skills that hes never shown before, and doing it against probably the most technical and athletic opponent he could face.

But to answer your question he didn't ko or even dominate his last fight we just saw. It was boring af and now he's gonna cash out against fury
Businessman Fury looking for a safe fight against non punchers .

Of course it is, its control. You say "staying on top of him" like thats some easy thing to do and doesnt require any kind of technique. Ngannou isnt exactly some grappling wizard but you can see that hes constantly controlling the wrists, getting overhooks and underhooks etc. After the first takedown he starts in side control and you can see him quickly switch to full mount to taking the back to getting his hooks in in response to Ganes movements as he tries to escape.Kannabis Kid

No doubt it was a fairly boring fight, but pretty much everyone can have a boring fight sometimes. Personally I didnt expect it to be a crazy fight going in anyway because of the stylistic match up. Did you see the co-main? that was an excellent fight.

Oh yeah I barely caught the last round. A couple people that were there when we started watching were saying it would be better for the main event. I think cause they are trying to setup a rematch of the winner and someone else I believe
