Top Rank's nonsense with Nico Ali Walsh is too much

Can you blame them? Top Rank has to milk Nico Ali for all he's worth before some journeyman knocks him out. Before his debut fight Nico's coach admitted that Nico talks too much during camp which tells me he's really not paying close attention and coasting off his name.

They're trying so hard to speak it into existence but going by his last 2 fights, doesnt seem the gift or talent is there. They're doing him no favors giving him so much air time at this stage in his career. Going to be a sad day for the family when gets brutally ktfo the first time they step up his competition. Dude got beat by a Robotics Programmer who looked like he had jumped off the couch a week before the fight ffs.

Really wish they'd just give him 4-5 fights off T.V get some experience , if he improves then get him back on T.V late in the year. Make sure he's at least decent before putting all this promotion behind him

It’s gotta kinda suck a$$ being in Nico’s shoes. You are not, will not, and don’t have a chance to live up to 1/4 of the Legacy of Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay.

Don't give them any ideas. I can already see Kriegel doing the voice over as they bring in an old toilet from Richfield Coliseum that Ali dropped a bomb in prior to his 1975 clash with Chuck Wepner.
