The kid doesn't seem to have much heartache milking the situation for as much as he can. His nickname is "The Legend Lives On"...I don't blame him, if not for his lineage he'd probably be cooking up waffle fries at a Chic-Fil-A outside of Chicago.

Dude got beat by a Robotics Programmer who looked like he had jumped off the couch a week before the fight ffs.
What makes it so funny is that it's entirely true.

Right!?...Did you see that smile on his face the whole fight lol? It was like he was living his dream and he was. There was a pre-fight segment on him that mentioned he always had a fascination with boxing ever since he was a little kid. Then to one day get a call you're fighting the grandson of Ali at MSG on a Loma undercard?? Kid has a great story to tell the rest of his life.

Who is this 'programmer' you speak of? Was it in the amateurs?

Nah,it was his last opponent,Sanchez or Reyes or something like that who he fought on the Loma/Commey undercard. Guy is a full time Robotics Programmer and moonlights as a boxer to live out a dream of his.

Young man is in a No Win Situation and sadly you got fighters gunning for him and wanting to beat him to make a name for themselves because he is "Ali Grandson"

Bruce Trampler is a legendary Matchmaker for a reason, I'm sure he will try to keep this hype going and try to match him very safely to keep the hype going but yeah he is not a Blue Chip Prospect or a Future World Champion or any of that stuff that is just the harsh reality not "Hate". Good luck to him though!

They should’ve tricked him and made a hand print of Luis The Boogeyman Ortiz , the kid would’ve shat himself in fear with the thought of his own hand inside the boogeymans and with a very bad nights sleep .

People say that to demean the opponent but the reality is that the majority of pro boxers have second jobs. Most don't earn a life sustaining wage from boxing alone. There's around 20,000 pros in the world and I'd guess at least 17,000 of them have a job besides boxing. Getting a TV fight on a major network is something special to a lot of those guys.
