Chavez lost that fight, no questions asked. everyone knows it, you have to count it as a win for Whitaker.

now, this may be an unpopular opinion...but I think Mayweather is more skilled than Ali. yup. not the greater fighter, but more skilled.
Watched that fight yesterday, I couldn't find more than 3 rounds to give to Chavez. Ridiculous draw.

It's not an unpopular decision to think Mayweather has more pure boxing skill. He does the technical things better. He is far from the greatness of Muhammad Ali, though.

Quit trying to build up Floyd just in case he loses to Marquez. Floyd fought a series of bums when he should have been fighting the greats of his era. That's established fact.

Well what other fights are you talking about other than DLH and Castillo?

Genaro is a solid fighter...he only lost when he jumped in weight to fight Oscar...

N'Dou was beating up tomato cans in South Africa his whole career, he beat no one before or after Mayweather with a pulse. Baldomir was a feather fisted Journeyman, the odds against Judah were so great that they shut down the betting.

Mohamed Ali stepped in the ring with guys that can take your head off! George Foreman!!! "Smokin" Joe Frazier....3 times!! The baddest freakin Heavyweight at the time, Sonny Liston!! Ken Norton had one punch KO power!

Ali was the Champ (3X) when there was only ONE belt! Mayweather wouldn't have been able to pick and choose and would have had to fight every one. Ali had a geat chin, and showed nothing but heart in the ring. Mayweather, while with great boxing skills, sells himself short of greatness, in pursuit of a perfect record and fame. All the great one's know what it's like to lose.

And Calzaghe might be one of the most overrated fighters in recent times...that's a fact as well...

Floyd's view of himself is his own business, who is any man to tell another man how to view themself.

We can take apart anyone's resume like that...you can do it with Hopkins...Jones...Pacquiao, etc.
