Buds running off past glories a bit at this point, it's not bad it's just not "p4p greatness" he needs a Spence fight or a Taylor fight or something. Porter was a solid win but "p4p greatness" .. and yeah I know it's not his fault.

Why cant Benn Davidson get Josh to make the 140 limit without having to expose himself at the weigh-ins? Why is Josh Taylor always battered and injured in close fights? Where is the masterclass by the so called 'undisputed' P4P jr. welterweight champion?

Bomac isn’t a good trainer he’s had one champion his entire training career lol

If you mr Davidson are so ducking good why are you still not with fury ? Why were you not training Saunders for the canelo fight and above all who have you developed from the start of their careers ? Boy you are a disgrace for those egotistical comments about other trainers . 1) your a novice in a declining sport where all the real trainers have either passed on or left the sport and 2) you started at the top with mature established talented pros who good trainers ( better than you ) developed for fitness kids like you to somehow reap the rewards . Real boxing people can only shake their heads with embarrassment when they hear rubbish from kids like you .

Most UK trainers didn’t have to suck off Daniel Kinahan just to get their foot in the door.
What happened between Peter Fury and Ben?

Fury made a comment about these modern trainers being fake and wanting to be more famous than and take credit from their fighters- basically describing leeches like Boxercise Ben.
Nash out Nash out likes this.

To me mental preparation is just as important. Should be 80% of it.
If you tell your fighter to focus 90% of your game plan on defense,
you might as well quit training fighters. That's what Fury did in the first fight.
That's what Alvarez did in the GGG1 fight. Derevyanchenko almost beat GGG.
It's clear the one who is able to walk down the opponent gets the upper hand in most cases.
But then, if you're not mentally prepared and your first instinct is to run, you might as
well quit in the middle of the fight. Look at Billy Joe. His first request is a huge ring so he can run properly around the ring.
How ****** is that? You could easily tell the mental deficiency right away. This guy is afraid to fight fire with fire.

I don't think Ben is saying anything we didn't know, it's kinda an open secret that British trainers just aren't at the same level as US trainers.

Most British trainers are stuck in the past, that's true. Dominic Ingle is just carrying on from his dad, Brendan, but doesn't really understand what made Brendan Ingle special. Hence his appalling corner work for KG. Mark Tibbs is one of a dynasty probably going back 250 years. I'm sure Zachariah Tibbs carried Tom Cribbs' water bottle when he fought Tom Molyneaux & probably told him 'go downstairs those blacks don't like body shots'. The Tibbs carry on doing the 'same old same old' . However, I recall that about 10 years ago Adam Booth was the big British trainer who would revitalise boxing. What's Adam Booth doing now? Probably the UK's top trainer is Rob McCracken who is now under serious fire because AJ makes one mistake after another. Thats why ambitious British fighters often go to trainers in the USA.
