I wasn’t sold on Davidson when he was coaching Fury but can’t argue with his body of work since then. The work he did to get Leigh Wood up to the level to flatten Can Xu is impressive.

Personally I agree that the standard of coaching in the UK isn't very good.

The only UK trainers I really rate are Shane Mcguigan and to a lesser extent Adam Booth, who I think is a good trainer for fighters with certain physical attributes.

Outside of theat there's a lot of guys still hanging around from the 1980s still teaching the same outdated concepts, and Ingle who "the ingle style" has been exposed so many times now it's not funny.

All British sport seems to be taught in very old fashioned ways, following the old blueprints from the 1950s, little creativity allowed, just follow the ABC approach

Not going to say he is not a good trainer but I tell ya Freddy Roach was very critical of Davison following the first Wilder/Fury fight. He wanted Tyson to be more aggressive & use his size advantage to bully Wilder while Davison chose for Fury to come in at 256 & box. Well the result ended in a draw & Fury dumped Davison for the Kronk Gym who had him come in 20lbs heavier you his size. The result was 2 KOs of Wilder.

RoadMan94, your online reviews for your one man operation patching holes on roofs are the worst Ive seen.

He showed up with an estimate based on a Google Earth Satellite image of my house. I was kind of surprised by this because I had made it clear that this was a repair job and I wondered if they'd listened to anything I'd said at all. He refused to climb up in my attic and take a look at the problem. He asked me to send him the photos my friend the contractor had taken when he climbed up in my attic and looked at it. He never responded to my emails and I called him multiple times a day for several days and he never picked up or returned my calls. I got the sense when he came over and handed me his estimate that he didn't want to do the job.
