There are rules in place here. Rules that are being ignored. And, WE, boxing fans shouldn't just sit there and say it's OK for that to happen.

Just as bad as the WBC if you think it's OK.
What rules. There are no hard and fast rules for a mandatory challenger with the WBC. There was a ruling asked for and the WBC ruled 20-80.

      No hard and fast rules?

Besides the one 'which allows for a 55/45 split between its world champion and interim titlist though with room to adjust to as high as 70/30' (or 50/50).

      Don't support the WBC.

I would like dillian to get more. William has done a lot to get this fight had to beat many good fighters.
But dillian shouldn't let fight slip awsy.

I’d have no problem with it being 70-30, I don’t really care about the split. It’s immaterial, the WBC have ordered 80-20, it is what it is. So Whyte (who’s cried about wanting a WBC title shot for years) either wants the shot or he doesn’t. He evidently doesn’t. Whyte rejected millions to fight AJ too, he’s already set the precedent for this kind of sh**.

            I would.

The WBC just make up rules on the fly, it's not acceptable.

Fans can't just sit there and say it's OK, regardless of your feelings towards Whyte, Fury, Hearn, Matchroom.

Be real, you would all stand up for yourselves in the real world.

Screw the WBC, fight the fight and stop this nonsense.

This isn't about what you think Dillian is worth, it's about the made up rules.

Dillian Whyte to bring down the WBC.

(I should say that I have always said he should just fight, I just want to see the fight, but now I realise there's more to it. The WBC needs to go.)
It is the corrupt sanctioning body title and rules. Unless the Fury team negotiates something better for Whyte they are not obligated to pay what Whyte wants.

You listen to too many dumb fkks on YouTube.
Apparently one of those too many dumb fkks on YouTube includes Anthony Joshua who acknowledge the $50m offer but said it was his contracts (Sky sports, sponsorships, etc.) that made the deal not acceptable. He never said the deal was fake or notice was too short.

Eddie's job, on the other hand, is to tell us that only he is a saint in this sports and every offer not made by him is fake and corrupt.

I hope Whyte accepts the deal and we get to see Fury vs Whyte. Otherwise, the next-in-line contender is Wilder. I do not want to see a Fury-Wilder quadrilogy.

Sorry guys, theirs no huge PPV line to watch Whyte fight Fury. He got whipped by a far less challenging champion (Joshua) & old man Povetkin.
He should take that money IF he thinks he can win and I doubt he thinks he can win. That’s why he’s holding out for someone easier like Wilder or Joshua or even Usyk. That’s what I’d do. Its a big risk though cause those guys might not want him. Might be too much of a threat or not enough money.

As I posted in another thread; one of their rules is that they're able to make up rules, change rules, etc on the fly. It's in the WBC constitution - fighters must agree to accept all rulings of the WBC.
