Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis On Why He Signed With Probellum: "It's A No-Brainer"

It was an offer Regis Prograis couldn't refuse. The former junior welterweight titleholder surprised some observers this past fall when he linked up with the new promotional outfit Probellum, which is headed by former Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer.

I hope it works out for him. He’s a great talent unafraid of challenge.

I mean let’s get to it….Richard Schafer had GBP on fire when he ran it. He will probably take this 2nd start up and make some noise.
I do like Prograis and wish him the best. He has qualities that most fighters wishes they had!

Another hometown guy, like Ward, who did not forget his roots. One of my favorite fighters... It breaks my heart that this kid is not fighting regularly, while his prime slips away. Very talented fighter, a handful for anyone who thinks coming up when they get their man strength will be a breeze... only to have fighters like Taylor and Regis at the gate!

Regis, you're a damn good fighter. You've probably got 2 years left to prove it so please don't waste them.

Hometown is the problem. They tapped homie on the road. Fighting at home, anywhere, has too many advantages. Road warrior is a merit badge, if he wins. Regis didn't get his road warrior badge.

Feel like he's wasting a little. Great fighter aswel. Wants to travel but shouldn't have went to London? Needs to get over that as he is the real deal!
