Yes, I agree, damn good fighter but with 2 fights against mediocre opposition in the last 2 years, he's already squandered precious years. He needs to get moving.

Why is he querying his decision to fight JT? He fought the best in division in an attempt to unify and took him about as close as he could without winning. Only real problem is boxing politics means he can’t get good fights because he’s high risk low reward. He should be champ again when Josh vacates

Well hopefully that “no brainer” attitude turns out well. Richard Schaefer already tried his own promotional company when he left Golden boy, it was called Ringstar Promotions and that turned out garbage. He didn’t do a thing for Karlos Balderas or Abner Mares or other fighters he signed.

First saw Regis when he showed up on ShoBox years ago and have been a fan ever since. He has an incredibly exciting style, willing to face tough fights and he comes off as sincere guy.

Because of that, his inactivity is all the more frustrating. Look forward to seeing him back in the ring.

Regis problem is that he is at a weight that has a unified champion and it will be a while so he can get a crack at the title. Also there is not to many big names at 140 and he wants to stay at that weight. Nobody will call him out because he doesn't have a title.

Can work out well. I can exclusively reveal that if Josh Taylor beats Jack Caterall he will next fight Bud Crawford, This unbelievably sensitive info has come to me by, er, reading stuff & listening to what folks say. Once Josh moves up, the obvious fights are Regis v Zepeda or Rodrigues
