Iron Boy is 34 years old, in the lower weight classes thats more like 40. He just doesnt have a lot left in the tank. A few years ago he was definitely P4P material.
He's always been a runner though, and the way he has always won his fights is inflicting the least damage possible. He may be outweighed by his opponents, but Ricardo Lopez was a minimumweight and he could ****. Calderon can't hurt a mosquitoe.

really? thats it? I was having fun and wanted a worthwhile argument, but if youre going to be a little girl about it and give one worded responses as if youve proved something, I guess thats ok too.

      have a nice day then.
Yeah they weren't bad too, but Kyowa was regarded I think as the next guy after Calderon. Oh and Niida is japanese so Calderon wouldn't have fought him either.

For the people who are saying "give him a break, he's 34 that's like 40. He's slowing down"

Him slowing down means he's not a P4P fighter.

well, Calderon could have fought them. but he would have had to give up his WBO strap and go to Japan for it.
some fighters just arent willing to do that.

I think Rachman was Thai...I dont know how they look at the belts.

Absolutely shocking... yet another split decision and there is no sign of the PR brigade stopping their ridiculous overhyping of Ivan Calderon.
