Other wins are on the same level as Benn`s wins.
But how about Ennis? Dulorme? Don`t make me laugh.Comment

read my posts on this thread and any other, I have no problem with Benn's development, I think they have done it the right way. I think Boots has also been developed nicely. Conor can fight AB, Guerrero and the ghost of Dempsey's corpse for all I care.Comment

Because Benn doesn't appear to be as good as Boots Ennis especially at the moment. Not all fighters develop the same way or the same speed.
Because Benn can pack arenas of casual fans fighting the likes of Sammy Vargas, Adrian Granados and Adrien Broner.
I have no clue when he will be ready. Maybe never. I don't recall anyone saying the kid was anything special or hyping him up. I don't even like him as a fighter and I actively root against him most fights. I just think it's funny how many people want to see him get beat or exposed for whatever reason.
I can respect your sentiments. It makes sense.
I don’t think there’s any boxing fan in the US that would appreciate a Broner fight. Broner is washed up. There are better guys Benn can test himself against. At this point Benn will not only beat Broner but also stop him hence the distaste of that fightComment

Quit defending Benn. Benn will get beat when he goes to the US.
If Boots mentions a desire to fight Broner, he will get the same backlash. Broner is washed up
Benn can continue to “test” himself but against better quality than Broner. It’s that simple.

I'd say make the Guerrero AND Broner fights on 2022...Broner being the last fight he takes next year. Benn needs all he can get to build his name and ring experience. When guys make fun of matches like this or force the guy to face another top-rated fighter in the division, the promoter focuses on business and we get what we get as a result.
I say, make the fights happen....especially if Benn is willing and able to fight 2-3 times next year. This is how we end up with relatively untested guys in against top-rated guys...Plant vs Canelo comes to mind- I mean that in the most respectful way.
When the guy is protected and moving in his own direction, creating his own path within the division, they'll skip the experience and get the big fight...all to stink up the joint.
Allow these fighters to get dirt on their jerseys. Let them bump their heads by matching them against tough veterans so they can grow as fighters. I hate the way things are going now...look at the Lightweight division. Everybody has their own agenda while trying to avoid the tests in order to get the big fight in the division. SO sad.
How exactly would a Guerrero and Broner fight prepare Benn for Spence or Crawford or even Boots? Let’s say he does beat both guys, do you think he’d beat the guys I just listed?
