Then why isn't there a franchise belt in every weight class?

but then Peoples would be immediately stripped by the IBF for agreeing to an immediate rematch against Mendoza instead of doing a mando against the USBA ratings chairman

Edit: And dont get me wrong, I love the IBF. Just busting chops......

You're wrong. Juan Estrada is listed as WBA-WBC unified champion in the current WBA ratings and Estrada has been franchise world champion for almost a year now. Further, we've seen with our very eyes multiple fights now where the IBF, WBO and super WBA titles have been on the line alongside with the WBC franchise. The IBF has very strict rules that their title can only be at stake along with the highest title of a rival organization. So the very fact that the IBF and franchise WBC have been unified proves you are wrong about which title can be unified.

Reason: Franchise designation is NOT recognized by other 3 Orgs, WBC title IS (Haney). Check their (WBA, IBF, WBO) rankings!
If you weren't an idiot, you would have checked the WBA, IBF and WBO ratings yourself and you would have seen Franchise world champion Juan Estrada listed in those very ratings month after month for nearly a year now.

If the WBC didn't create the franchise world championship, Lomachenko would have had to fight Haney or vacate instead of being elevated. Can't blame Haney for that. Kambosos is undisputed, but Haney and Tank still have world titles too.

No, it's not a known fact. It's your opinion. There is no official record keeper of undisputed champions. Some in the media (many of whom are on the DAZN payroll) are attempting to change the definition of undisputed champion. By the definition that has always existed, Kambosos absolutely is undisputed champion.
Mauricio Sulaiman never said that George Kambosos, Jr was the undisputed champion at Lightweight
The WBC has repeatedly said Kambosos is their top champion and is the undisputed champion. He has the top title of all four organizations. None of the organizations are in dispute. All four agree Kambosos is the champion.

Because unlike the WBA, which had promised to only use the super world championship for special circumstances, the WBC has actually kept their promise of only elevating the most elite of champions and not instituting the franchise world title in every weight class. Right now the WBA has multiple world champions in 11 out of 17 divisions. The WBC only has multiple world champions in 1 out of 18 divisions. They shouldn't be criticized for not having multiple titles in every class, they should be applauded for keeping their word and only utilizing the franchise world title in the most special of circumstances.

Why do you love the IBF? They were caught selling ratings for cash and the president went to prison. The government investigation uncovered that the president had illegally installed his nephew as ratings chairman and that he was an unindicted co-conspirator. Who is the current IBF president now? The illegally installed unindicted co-conspirator nephew.

that was decades ago under different leadership. That was even longer ago than your beloved WBC stealing Rockys belt and almost being dissolved.

But I love the IBF because they stay true to their rules, dont play favorites, dont sell rankings, no interim titles unless serious injury, and their champs cant sit on the title for 4 years without doing a mando......
