The haters are in rare form today! There is little mention of boxing on this thread, or much else directly related to the sport, but a hell of a lot of venom directed at one guy. Hating Canelo has become a cottage industry of sorts for a lot of losers and even a lucrative business for some. Get a life, people! Focus on boxing, not this ****** stuff. Boxing is a great sport and worthy of serious discussion.

Reynoso thinks he has seen a weakness and probably he has. But seeing something and exploiting it are two different things.

How has he cleared out 168 when he never fought the best in division? Shot Kovalev gave him a tough fight , the scores were almost even by round 10, yet Benavidez is bigger, faster, more powerful and durable so its obvious why Canelo will probably never ever fight him.

Canelo is right, in a way, but he's wrong to say Benavidez brings nothing.

Benavidez didn't lose his title in the ring, and he's unbeaten, brings a dangerous challenge. That's what he brings. Canelo is more keen on Charlo, who doesn't seem quite at that level, but he's not enthusiastic about fighting David.

Yes, I get your point but they could do more than they are presently doing, particularly Charlo who isn't really trying to unify, even in his own division never mind stepping up to 168. Canelo should make it know that Charlo, Benevidez, Golovkin, Andrade need to fight each other before he's gonna fight them, I stead of him being expected to run the gauntlet whilst they fight relative nobodies.
            Thanks.

He couldn’t stop Smith. Benavidez hasn’t even been wobbled. If you’ve watched or been involved with fighters long enough, comments like this just illustrate a lack of understanding of the game. Why do you think there is so much commentary about Canelo ducking Benavidez on every boxing forum? Because the consensus is that he’ll give him a seriously hard fight. But no, you know better than all the pundits, the fighters, the trainers and pretty much everyone involved in boxing and believe he’ll knock him out easily - so, back to my first question, based on what? Go on, share your in depth knowledge of the sport and tell us why you think that?
What you mean? Charlo barely got by Korovob, had a really bad night against what’s his name in his last fight and by the looks of it he isn’t planning on fighting more than once a year against nobody’s. As for Benavidez it seems like you are the one lacking understanding of the game. If you really have followed his career you would know that he has not come close to fighting anyone near Alvarez level, hell he hasn’t even been in the ring with someone in the same level as Saunders or Smith. You would also understand that Benavidez has regressed skill wise and has not shown a single glimpse of improvement since he had his breakout fight against Porky Medina. The only reason people want Alvarez to fight Benavidez is because they think his height and weight might get the job done but when Alvarez ends up fighting him by the end of 2023 and ends up beating him it’s a guaranteed that most of you guys are going to say that Benavidez was too green or weight drain. Nothing that Benavidez does at this point is going to stop Alvarez from getting in the inside and beating him down

Fact 1. A (elite) division fighters. Beterbiev, Bivol, Benavidez, Golovkin, Charlo, Ramirez, Browne, J Smith. Fact 2. B division fighters. Fielding, Jacobs, Yildirim, C Smith, Saunders, Plant, Kovalev. Absolutely no comparison. True A and B level opponents. Fact 3. Kovalev 36 1/2 yrs old, KO'D twice, old brittle shot version. Super middleweight division? One of the weakest in boxing. I get it, its about the money but dont talk ****e and expect us to swallow it. Now wants to fight a nobody cruiser. Hes a politician not a boxer.

B division fighters. Fielding, Jacobs, Yildirim, C Smith, Saunders, Plant, Kovalev. I get it, its about the money but dont talk rubbish and expect us to take it. Now he wants to fight a nobody and cherry pick cruiser like he did with shot Kovalev. GTFOH.

lol @ even mentioning Saunders at 168, he is a euro bum. Benavidez beat up and stopped Dirrell who was a 2 time wc, and never stopped 33-1, that was a quality win. He runs over everyone he faces, unlike bums like Callum smith who got beat up by Ryder and a gifted decision. David would stop him easily.
