The problem is the Charlo's refuse to fight Canelo. They were offered an opportunity and they turned it down. One just has to look at the Charlo's record and it shows they only fight C level fighters they know they can beat. They have not once challenged themselves. Why is it Canelo is the only fighter that has to constantly challenge himself when fighters like Benavidez, Charlo, and GGG get to fight a laundry list of nobodies and never-will-be's? Benavidez's last fight was against a guy who was 16-2-1. Yet, no one complains that he just fought a bum. GGG fought Rolls who is not even in the top 100 and Szeremeta another bum. Hypocrites like yourself require of Canelo the things that they do not require of their own favorite fighters or any other fighter. It is quite pathetic. Canelo started his career at welterweight and he is now going to fight a champ at cruiserweight, 200lbs, and people are still trying to say Canelo does not properly challenge himself. Benavidez, Charlo, and GGG have noty challenged themselves and Beterbiev has not even fought his biggest rival at 175lbs, Bivol.

The problem with this is that Canelo is often rated as the top P4P boxer in the world! If you want to be the best, I’m sorry, but you need to consistently challenge yourself. Thats what top P4P means. Yes that does mean that I expect more from Canelo than his peers. That’s just how this thing works. Just like in any other sport. If you’re the best, you face the best, and you beat the best. Sorry if I’m holding Canelo to a higher standard, but if he’s rated as the top P4P guy, then yes, I’m going to keep him accountable in what he does. There’s a reason why those other guys aren’t rated top P4P.

Canelo is a great boxer and a future HOF. I want him to prove that he’s one of the ATG and he’s on his way, but him jumping up to face a nobody doesn’t cut it for me when he has other challenges in the other weight classes. This is essentially gonna be like when Roy Jones faced Ruiz for the heavyweight title. We all knew Roy Jones fought a soft challenge, that what this is for Canelo.

Fact is Saul shouldve cleaned out 160. At that point and til this day its head and shoulders above the garbage 168 division. He wanted all the belts, his own words, but decided on euro-stiff Super middleweights instead. NOBODY in here was talking about them killers at 168, if at all. Hed wouldve got more credit at 160 or even 175 than 168. Those are just facts. I know them Ginger fanboys cant comprehend it, but it is what it is.
