just judging him by what he says and does. he says hes too small to fight certain guys but that has turned out to a lie multiple times now. thats the definition of cherry picking. doenst mean he sucks but thats hes lame and his fans are simps who let him get away wtih it, also if you think 168 has been strong the last couple of years...no it hasnt at all. the best guy at 168 was caleb plant? come on now. he did nothing

stop it. canelo fought bum ass yildram dont talk about earning anything, and being a mandatory doesnt mean a damn thing cause we saw in the past canelo just dropped his belt when he was too scared to fight his mandatory so that means nothing. canelo is forcing the wbc to give him a fight against their cruiser champ...i wonder who the wbc champ is at 175? why hasnt he forced that one? hmmmmmmm he was too small before but hes not too small for cruiser? he was too small for 160 and made up a division and then fought at super middle. hes doing it again how can you fall for it? if he wants to stay at 168 and continue taking on the best their then cool, the divisoin was horible but these things always come in waves. flopping around divisions picking easy cherries and then saying im too small to fight certain guys is weak as hell

Lol. Sound like one of the haters Canelo was talking about. Just the fact that you bring up the Yildirim fight, knowing it was a mandatory and what he was he was trying to do in the division says enough. I don't agree with everything he does, but the simple fact is that he does what he does bc he can. Anybody else in his position would do the same thing. Pick and choose. Just like Mayweather, DLH, Cotto and any other star that has been in this position has done. Whether you, me, or anybody else like it or not, Canelo is the king of the boxing world and everybody else just lives in it waiting for him to bless them. It is what it is.

Bottom line is that before Alvarez even moved up to 168, the consensus was not that Callum Smith was the best at 168. He won the super 6 yes, but who against? The best name was George Groves. Same with BJS who had only moved up to 168 as he couldn’t land fights with GGG or Canelo at 160. Realistically amongst the boxing fraternity everyone knew Benavidez was probably the toughest fight for him at 168. Even if he wasn’t the best, he had the size and tools to provide Alvarez with his sternest test. Moreover, when Canelo petitioned the wbc for a giveaway fight Benavidez’ belt 5 minutes after he got stripped then of course it looks like he’s ducking him. Canelo’s team never mentioned Benavidez’ name before coming up to 168, had barely mentioned it since and now only talks about it to answer why he’s ducking him. I’ve always been a big Canelo fan, but less so now as he is blatantly ducking Benavidez if as he says his legacy is what he cares about. There will always be the question of who was the best fighter at 168 until the fight gets made. I hope Benavidez chases him up the divisions and gets the fight. Benavidez should move up and beat Beterbiev. There would be nowhere to run then for Canelo.

Yes, if they want those big $$$ then go fight and earn it. Why doesn't Charlo actually fight someone @ 168 like benevidez? Benevidez challenge @ 175? Canelo gets criticised for picking fights,vehy don't these other guys pick the same kind of fights?
