The ultimate leverage is being willing to walk unless a deal is on your terms.

Tell em brother. This sport is hard to watch these days. Boxing SUCKS!

??? Fury's beaten almost everyone? Is this a joke? He has two decent names on his resume, Wilder & Vlad, and a couple OK names (Wallin/Chisora/Hammer).

You could argue Whyte has a better overall resume than Fury, Joshua definitely does.

I've said it a few times, there is something odd about Fury not wanting to fight Whyte, he said he would for the WBC diamond belt then changed his mind, said he would before the 3rd Fury fight now seems to not want it again.

He'd be heavily favoured, its his mando and the best fight available and be huge in the UK so it is a little weird he just doesn't do it.

So Fury just wasted how many years fighting the same dude 3 times, during his prime. The trilogy practically ate all his prime years. I don’t count those no name bums he fought in between.

We’re excited he’s finally able to move onto a boxer with actual skills, who doesn’t just rely on his right hand, and now it’s not happening.

                  *** this heavyweight era. Lame.

Joshua wants to rematch and he knows that he will likely lose again as does his corner and knowledgeable boxing fans, a few even on boxing scene. Joshua knows that if he loses the rematch there will probably not be a Fury fight. Fight the little bro Usyk and if he kicks your butt, big bro Fury won't need to. Joshua's refusal to bypass the rematch and let Usyk fight Fury is the problem. Is Joshua's confidence so low he would rather take punches from a blown up cruiser instead of a super heavy? Ruiz hits harder than Usyk and he is not a big puncher.

Joshua needs to settle the score with Wilder. If Wilder beats Joshua it would be assumed that Fury would really give Joshua a whopping and we all call Joshua a bum. If he beats Wilder that gives him status as the only fighter other than Fury to beat him so that gives him a place in history if the Fury fight is not made. And Wilder should be out of boxing if he loses.

Fury needs to drop the belt and fight Usyk now. Let Whyte and Ruiz fight for the vacant WBC. Whyte ducked Wallin and so if Fury drops the belt to fight a top fighter how can anyone dish Fury. Fury, Usyk, Wilder or Joshua winners can come back later and take the belts if they win.

Parker vs Joyce is another one that needs to be made.

These eight fighters are the top heavies today. Fight each other and stop running. The only time belts or titles meant anything was back when there was only the WBA and WBC.

Urgh can we finally get those belts unified for ****s sake.

And Fury should not be excused from fighting people just because the fans PERCEIVE him to be better. If you're the top dog you need to be taking on all the top 10 level guys consistently to prove your status. I personally feel he would beat Whyte comfortably, but you just never know until they actually get in the ring with each other.
