So Canelo beats Beterbiev pretty easy right guys?

Golovkin got what he deserved, he should have gone after the real legacy fight in Andre ward. He perceived canelo as a cherry pick and learned the hard way. I consider Beterbiev far better than Golovkin. His was over Gvozdyk and Browne are already more impressive than any win GGG has, all bums or controversial wins like Jacobs and dervy.Comment

I think Bivol might be the tougher fight for Canelo stylistically, but both fights are fights Canelo has a reasonable chance of losing. Beterbiev is a real puncher. It's scary how much power he generates on his short punches. Everything including his jab is a damaging puncher punch. If Canelo doesn't get him out of there early, he could be in for a long, bruising night where he takes more punishment than we're used to seeing.Comment

It's not like he's Floyd mayweather or he's untouchable, ggg landed plenty of good shots in the second fight even and was 1 close round away from defending his belts FFS. These are just facts not hate.Comment

Beterbiev didn’t look that “big” or heavy to me tonight. He was a lot taller than the interviewer after the fight, and I saw that he is listed at 6ft. tall, not that that’s actual proof. There’s so many fighters id have loved to stand next to in the ring to get a gauge of their actual size. It’s funny cause 6ft. at 175lbs can be considered “slim build” outside of boxing. Yes I know he rehydrates, but to my eye maybe not too much more than ten pounds. He does look natural and comfortable there. So many of the combat athletes from the Dagestan area have remarkably similar physiques. I don’t mean that in any way offensive, it’s obviously a real hot spot for talent. You just don’t see the overly muscled guy, or the guy who is very slim. Will we ever see the 6ft. plus heavyweight from that area?Comment

he's build more like a wrestler with short legs and huge back and obviously a huge gas tank, there is a joke in Russia saying the boys from Dagestan born with grade of a Candidate for Master of Sports in wrestlingBeterbiev didn’t look that “big” or heavy to me tonight. Stand in front of him in a ring with boxing gloves on AND THEN talk to me why his size DONT MATTER.Beterbiev didn’t look that “big” or heavy to me tonight. Ive met and shook hands with Manny Pacquiao. He’s about 5:04. Tiny, petite, little man. I’m 5:09 and would of been in his weight class. I KNOW BETTER then to think his little size means sheeit. He’d kill me. Probably because I HAVE boxed smaller men who had BIG punches. It’s shocking but they do exist.Last edited by MONGOOSE66; 12-18-2021, 03:23 AM.Comment
