Callum Smith is a BUM, he got exposed by a kickboxer named Nieky Holzken. Should have put him away within 5 rounds but went to distance while having trouble in the fight.
So Canelo beats Beterbiev pretty easy right guys?

Fun Fact: He got knocked out against the father of Robin van Roosmalen in a kickboxing match.
But it is a different sport nothing like boxing in terms of: distance, combinations, training methods, weight cutting (look at how much bigger Callum is than Holzken).
On Topic:
Beterbiev is to Canelo as Canelo is to his opponents at <= 168 (except GGG)
Too strong. Hits like a mack truck. Has the skills going with his power.
Fight will never happen.Comment

Beterbiev would be a very dangerous fight for Canelo but there are some attributes that Canelo possesses that might be bonuses when compared to someone like Markus Browne. Canelo is a lot more explosive and accurate than Browne, although he’s also smaller, with a much shorter reach. Browne was caught with some brutal body shots from Beterbiev, but those shots will be harder to land cleanly on Canelo’s shorter frame. BUT Canelo’s shorter height and his less mobile nature will give Beterbiev a big opportunity to land big shots on Canelo and force the action more consistently than with a taller, more mobile opponent. That will end up leading to a fire fight because sooner rather than later Canelo would be forced to engage in a standoff. Beterbiev likely has a fair bit more power than Canelo, but Canelo is a sharp shooter…..I don’t know how it would turn out but I suspect that Beterbiev is just too dangerous of an opponent for Canelo and his team to fight. If Canelo gets demolished, his brand will take a huge hit. I don’t expect Canelo to make that fight until Beterbiev looks obviously vulnerable in the ring. There’s too much to lose.Comment
