Bundu was also 42. Like Pac would’ve been. Spence and co. Sure know how to pickem. Ko’d Brook from 160, Mikey Garcia straight from 135. P4p #6 this guy. Hey, he did beat Porter.

He did jump straight in with Danny Garcia after nearly killing himself in a car crash and fought Brook in his own hometown.

Mikey was and still is just cashing out and has no business at 147 but Porter, Spence and DSG were all very good wins.

Ok...let's accept that the Prograis Broner call out is genuine. Perhaps it's because he already tested his level and found that Broner type fighters are where he's at. Like I said...he already dared to be great.

I will say I completely understand why they are progressing Benn at the pace they are. Kid has little to no amateur experience and he wasn't particularly good when he started out.

In addition to the above, he seems to be a revenue generator with a fanbase in the UK; Why not develop him slow and measured and get everything you can out of his potential?
They aren't putting Benn in with a top 5 guy any time soon. I have serious doubts over Benn's ability to take any kind of power shot, or even constant shots from an accurate, skilled puncher. I like the Broner fight next, and although people here seem to dismiss Broner, I think it would be Benn's best win so far, and as Broner does have accuracy and decent pop, although terrible workrate, I'd still say it's a 50-50 fight, as Broner is also durable.

I also like the Benn vs Marku fight. There is some heat between them, and it will be a war from the start. It's a fight that Nash believes will bring the best out of both guys. There is no point putting Benn in with Vergil Ortiz or Ennis, as in England, to the casual fan, they have no idea who they are, and both, in the opinion of Boxingscene Hall of Famer Nash, beat him handily.

Benn's journey, if he is guided right can be a fun one. But if he gets thrown to the top dogs too soon, his career might be over way before its time. Benn isn't the second coming of Terrence Crawford, he is who he is, an exciting B-level fighter. Nash out.

I mean, get real. Just take a look which guys Spence fought before getting a title shot. Guys like Bundu, Lo Greco, Algieri.

Since when should top rising contenders fight each other before getting a world title shot?

I mean, add some logic into your virtual match making. You would be terrible advisors for young fighters.
That old blueprint thats been used for years is why boxing isnt at the top of the aports food chain anymore. Feeding the prospect/top contender retreads should be no more. These guys want to prove theyre the top up n comer....fight your contemporary to get a shot or stfu.
