Davis is a victim of having too much athleticism. His flaw is that he lacks proper fundamentals because he never had to really work on it to be successful. He has accomplished what he has has accomplished mainly due to his superior physical gifts of speed and power.

But having said that it will take special type of fighter to beat him.. Just because a guy like Cruz made him look like an ordinary fighter doesn't mean he isn't special. Cruz is a not a guy anybody would look good with.
