Prime duran vs loma? How do you think it would go?

Obviously its hypothetical and I normally hate putting fighters from different eras against each other, but just curious?
also whats your opinion on chocolatito as an atg?

At 135 i'd go with Duran. He was a bigger puncher and harder hitter at that weight.

I might be able to answer this better after the Commey fight. I'd like to see how he handles someone who's athletic, has good boxing skills with real KO power. Commey is no Duran, but there are a few similarities. Then we'll have Commey and Teofimo to compare to, one where Loma wasn't at his best and another where he is at his best.

It would be kind of like Wilfredo. I think Duran fought Wilfredo after doing another one of his horrendous weight cuts. Had he not drained himself, I wonder how that fight would have gone. Duran was clearly not 100 percent for that fight.

Great fight while it last but Roberto at 135 was a force of nature. Duran KO 8.

Choc is definitely an ATG IMO.

While I think Loma is absolutely a good fighter, he has ZERO advantages over a lightweight Duran. None. One sided decision or late round stoppage for Duran.

                  - - Quite a bit better footwork and inside reflexes over Duran who was heavily weight drained in his lightweight career. He lost a the first of a trilogy vs tricky Esteban de Jesus, or did U fergit?

Duran at welter was much closer to his natural prime. Duran completely skipped 140.

This is a great point. Duran had lightweight glory but skipped on up to Welter.
By contrast Robinson who was considered perhaps based on his bouts at Welter and above, was alleged to be his best at lightweight.
Floyd arguably was best at 135...

Duran is a little different... I think he could have problems with Loma at that weight.
