When Duran retired, had a record of 16-5 (13 KOs) in World Title fights. That's in a 33 year long pro career. Lomachenko, right now, has a record of 12-2 (9 KOs) in World Title fights. That's in a period of eight years. And Loma is still going.
Duran's win percentage in title fights is 76 percent. Loma's win percentage in title fights is 85 percent.
Loma makes Duran say NO MAS

I rest my case.
(And yeah, I know it hurts.

They didn't have 4 belts in Duran's lightweight era.

Today everybody and their mom is a world champion. And "world title fights" are a dime a dozen.
So no, throwing numbers out there without context doesn't prove anything. Sorry.
Hands of Stone > Orlando Salido. It is what it is.

Everyone knows Loma beat Salido. One judge sure as hell thought he did. Anyway, my only takeaway from what you said is that it's easier now to have much higher quality competition because of the number of champions available. In other words, Duran fought a lot of bums.

And you're right. Loma doesn't make Duran say "NO MAS." Loma makes Duran say "NO MASCHENKO."
