There's no rotation. They'll order their mandatory when they want.

And the WBC don't get to declare someone Undisputed. They get to declare their champion. Which they have, it's Devin Haney
I just linked you to the latest ratings. Franchise world champions are listed above regular world champions.

Devin Haney and Tank Davis are regular champions. Kambosos has the top title of all four orgs.

The WBC promoted the fight as being for the undisputed championship because all four orgs recognized Lopez as the true world champion. https://twitter.com/WBCBoxing/status...96542927319041

This guy is stubborn and delusional. I'm starting to think it's Teo's dad, except he hasn't cussed or said " bro ". I've stopped with him now. If he won't be educated then leave him be. He'll be waking up in the night screaming " franchise " " franchise ".

Thank you for linking to an article someone from the WBC website wrote in Spanish to recap the convention and then had translated to English. However, that article isn't the official published WBC ratings. As you've already been shown, here are the official published WBC ratings: https://wbcboxing.com/mailing/2021/r...EMBER_2021.pdf

If you check the super flyweight page, they've also got that title as vacant with a little tab indicating Estrada is Franchise Champion.

So in both cases the WBC places the WBC Championship above the Franchise Championship.

Do I think it's ****** the WBC stipped Lomachenko and elevated Haney? Yes.

But that's what they did. The Franchise Championship is an honorary designation, not a championship.

I think what you posted tells you is that they're making it up as they go along.

They were happy to report Loma as being the main man at Lightweight, which gave some credibility to what they'd done with the belt. They could still stomach it with Lopez, after all he was in the P4P conversation.

But now they've got a completely devalued Franchise belt. One that was supposed to be a lifetime designation for special fighters. And they've had three such 'special' fighters now in a short space of time. Not so special then is it?

It's very clear from what I posted that Haney is their champion. Kambosos is just a Franchise Boxer.

Claiming Kambosos as Undisputed is just trying to have your cake and eat it. They're torn between the shame of admitting that they screwed up the division and the shame of admitting that three fighters (including a massive underdog) have held their elite, special, unbeatable, non-transferable, super-duper franchise belt.

Oh and thankyou for posting the irrelevant ratings from last month. Feel free to post the updated ratings when they are released.

The WBC has always been very clear that their rules are flexible and they adapt as situations change. Originally "Franchise" was an honorary non-transferable award. Now, the "Franchise World Championship" is the same as the WBA's "Super World Championship." A world title ranked higher than the "regular" world title. Since the WBA is eliminated the super title and the WBC only has two franchise world champions, I would expect the WBC to phase out the franchise title as the WBA phases out the super title.

The official published WBC ratings make it very clear that Teofimo as franchise champion ranked above Devin as champion. When the next ratings are published, Kambosos will be ranked above Devin as well. The WBC has repeatedly referred to Lopez-Kambosos as an undisputed championship fight.
