2-0 Triple G as far as I'm concerned. Those were his belts. Watch the fight with no American broadcast volume . You'll see GGG won both fights .

Too bad BBB side couldn’t crack that code the first two times. He and his groupies were saying he would walk Canelo down and KO him easily.
He got exposed as a paper tiger when he stepped up to a real challenge and not some bum on house arrest.
BBB side has been irrelevant since the cash cow took that 0.

And since their fights GGG has done absolutely nothing, his best win was barely beating B level Drev. Canelo moved up and cleared out 168, not his biggest fan the guy always keeps moving and looking to fight the best. Golovkin sounds like that bitter ex who still runs her mouth years after you left her.

Canelo beat him by outboxing his ass in the first fight and then when team ggg cried like little bi.tches talking about “Mexican style”, which for those idiots that don’t know any better… basically was team ggg pleasing Canelo to not box because there was no chance ggg can beat Canelo if he boxed him so they used that bs to get the people against Canelo and force Canelo to stand and fight and in their minds, that’s would give them a better chance at beating Canelo… well to their surprise and many others, Canelo obliged and went on to outwhoop his ass Mexican style like the crybaby wanted. Ggg is such a ******** diva it’s crazy, never seen a “knockout artist” or “power puncher” or “straight killer” be such a diva! In the history of the sport!!! Imagine Mike Tyson, or Aaron Pryor or Duran or Hearns talking about oh… please don’t move around just stand there please… I want you to give me a chance to punch you… lol and then get whooped and cry out the ring bwahahahahaha phag

but whats even more impressive is that he has never been visibly hurt or even down to the canvas his entire career, this counts even more in my book considering his style
canelo vs visibly hurt vs cottos little uber driver brother but golovkin is like superman who cant be beat except with kryptonite or in golovkin's case with a gun or something like that.
ATG?!?!?!! Lmao no bro stop it

These types of performances is what led him to be the favorite against Canelo, as far as odds go. GGG fans claimed Canelo will get destroyed in under 6 rounds.

That was really the majority of forum’s vote. GGG by TKO.

In the first fight, Canelo outlanded GGG in power punches in 7 rounds. If some fans thought that Draw was a robbery, it would have been interesting to see what they would have say if Canelo got the nod.

In the second fight, Canelo outlanded GGG in power punches in 9 rounds.

In the rematch, GGG put way to much stock on the jab. He outjabbed Canelo, good for him. But when your opponent is landing the most telling blows, in more rounds, you can’t win by just jabbing.

GGG advertised himself as fighting “Mexican style”, make it war.

What happened instead was that GGG was on the backfoot, jabbing, occasionally throwing power punches. Abel Sanchez, post fight, even announced that GGG did not follow the gameplan, that he was supposed to come forward and throw more power punches. Abel also gave credit to Canelo for the win and said (paraphrasing) “we can’t complain about every decision.” Abel then got fired.

GGG’s secret for a third fight better involve coming forward and throwing more power punches. Because, versus the best MW fighters, Canelo, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, GGG didn’t look good.
Thank you sir! And that’s why canelo and ggg 3 is not needed. First of all, the ggg is old excuse is already there… it’s been there since the first fight! If they fight again it’ll be for money and nothing more, knocking ggg out does little to enhance canelos already ATG career

Some dude just called Golovkin an ATG in this thread. Lmao in the past two days I’ve seen Golovkin, Cotto, Spence, and Crawford get called ATGs.

Has that term truly lost its meaning?

for all those people who didn't cry about Marquez begging for a 3rd and 4th fight, I hope they don't cry about GGG begging for a fight as well.

Kind of an unfair headline - all GGG said is he has 'secrets' he would use vs Canelo, just like Canelo probably has secrets to use vs him.
