    Briggs, Jackson Final Press Conference Photos Gallery - There was plenty of drama at the final press conference for the debut show of Triad Combat set for this Saturday, November 27 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. All fighters met the media with an over-heated atmosphere headed by their Team Captains, Shannon 'Let's GO Champ' Briggs for boxing and Quentin 'Rampage' Jackson for MMA.

                  Was Mir ever a stand up guy? Is this boxing?

                      I think it's limited striking rules. So spinning punches are legal and a few other things.

                      edit: from their site

                      All punches from all positions and angles which land on legal targets (as defined below) are allowed in Triad Combat. This includes, but is not limited to: jabs, crosses, hooks, straights, upper cuts, bolo punches, back fists, and hammer fists.

                      All spinning punches which land on legal targets are allowed.

                      All strikes involving kicks, knees, elbows, forearms, shoulders, and head are illegal.

                              Mir hurt a few people standing back in the day but he was never a great striker. The rules for this seems to be boxing but with smaller gloves, you can hold for longer and do spinning back fists, and its in a triangular ring. Oh and theres Metallica. Gotta love Triller.

                                  Shannon old and washed up in boxing but he’ll certainly beat the hell out of one of these MMA guys just on power and boxing knowledge if it’s no take downs and straight boxing, he would become relevant!
