I didn't get the fight because I had to work. Not sure if I would have bought it if I wasn't working tho. I think several factors came into play:
1) Crawford hasn't established that crossover appeal 2) Making it PPV exclusively via an app that you need to obtain and then pay a fee for greatly restricts the ease of purchase.
3) The undercard was abysmal.

I never put anything past Bob. Knowing that it was the last fight on the TR contract, it wouldn't surprise me if he set it up to to underwhelm. I don't think it was ever going to do great numbers but Bob didn't really try hard to maximize success.

Ain't gonna BS. Went friends house they had app but didn't have ESPN+ they wanted him to pay like $100 for the fight. I signed into my account and then we bought it. They INSANE *****g a fight on PPV then wanting u to BUY the app. To watch what u bought on PPV. Sht nuts!!!

Hell I watched it free the next day on YouTube and it was just as good as seeing it live even knowing the results, I’m a fighter like that!

The black sports fan base is smaller because they have dominate athletes in more sports, basketball, football, baseball,mma ,track&field etc.. Mexicans are mostly focused on boxing and soccer.

First of all, everyone who's anyone knows Crawford is a racist. He only associates with black people. So who's exactly he talking about when he says these people don't know how to get an app? It's black people , nuff said. Figure that out. Also Crawford hasnt beat anyone, ever of note. Don't buy this crap that Porter was a worthy opponent. It was his last fight and everyone knew it. On the record it will go down as a victory over a 34 yr old in his last fight of his career. A fighter that Spence has already beaten a few years earlier. Nobody was fooled but a few blacks. Nobody with 1/2 a pea in their skull are fooled by Crawford. Nobody. As his PPV numbers reflect. If the blacks cared or knew about Crawford and cared about this mismatch, they would've found a way to get this app. Or whatever they had to do. Bottom line? They didn't care. They probably didn't even know the fight was on .

I’m not a fan of Crawford only because his resume at WW has been trash BUT to call him a racist because “he associates with black people only” means you literally have zero knowledge about historical and contemporary facts about the US and why black people hold the same sentiments.

It’s ESPN and internet providers fault, to be able to eat the fight on my TV I had to purchase ESPN thru my internet provider to be able to watch it. I could watch it on my phone or find my adapter from the phone to the tv but I didn’t feel like it
