Yeah, I know what you mean. This new technology is the wave of the future. Everybody is streaming their favorite programming, television series and sporting events online these days. It's sad to say but inear television is slowly becoming a thing of the past.

I don't think people understand what happened. The platform is ok, it's Bob, he set that up. Signing up for the App just to get the PPV was a Bob Arum's last ditch grab for cash.

Canelo garnered 800,000 PPV buys by fighting on showtime.. perhaps if Crawford wants more money then he should have his next PPV on showtime where they have a large audience in the urban market and if he fights Spence or Charlo then that'll be over a million buys

Everyone knew this fight wasn’t going to sell. Poor reflection on boxing fans because it was probably the 2nd most entertaining Ppv/streaming app main event this year behind Fury vs Wilder.

While I am disappointed with the overall numbers but I cannot say that I am surprised by them. I predicted that this fight would do under 200K pay per view buys because neither fighter is a mainstream crossover star with casual fans. In addition, neither fighter have a large or loyal fan base. In short, this fight should have never been on pay per view to begin with; Especially at $70.

I said that when this fight first got signed and out came all the typical loudmouth obsessive incels going off about why it should. I swear the ignore list has gotten robust

The fight was advertised as $70 or 69.95 to be exact (numbers might be a little off.)I go to the espn+ app to order and BAM!! Im hit with this bull**** that i gotta purchase an annual plan to get the fight. 69.95 for the plan and an extra $20 for the fight. Which comes to 89.95. FOH!!! I went over my potnah house and watched it. And Im sure this happened to many more people. Its much easier to purchase on hbo, Showtime and fox, i just pay for the fight and dont have to subscribe to some service i dont want anyway. For those that did it, good for you, but it wasnt for me. So yeah, Bud has a great f’n point.

You didn't have to buy the annual pass, they were using the fight to promote the app. I got the app for 1 month, and ordered the fight.

I was a little more bs to go through, than pressing a button on your remote, but anybody who wanted to watch the fight, could've figured it out.
