    180 lbs catchweight

    I just read canelo wants to fight ilunga, at 180 pounds. What do you guys think?

      He's not saying that. In fact what he's saying indicates that the fight will have a limit of 200lbs, which surprises me as the limit was changed to 190lbs.

      If Canelo comes in at 180 that's okay. Marciano fought and held the heavyweight title weighing only about 185. There are no weight restrictions as to how little you can weigh.

          That’s not what he said.

          No where in the article does it even say the word “catchweight”. You just pulled it out of thin air.

          He says he will weigh 180, not that the fight will be at a limit of 180.

              Reynoso already said that ilunga is not agreing to the catchweight. And canelo said that he wants a catchweight, and mentioned 180.

                WBC limit is still 200
