Martin usually comes forward, throws a lot of shots, maybe he could beat Ortiz if he jabbed and moved all night and used his height/reach. But I don't think he's that kind of fighter, he's gonna open up and get caught at some point. Ortiz is still dangerous if you give him time to plant his feet and counter you.

The IBF needs to sanction an elimination bout ,I’m not sure Hrgovic needs any of those guys he just needs the sanctioning body to get an opponent for him he was named a final eliminator awhile back . A win gets him the actual title shot ,Martin or Ortiz will be waiting a long time for any IBF title shot if they go by their own rules .

Hard to gauge where Ortiz is, but if he's still the same fighter then I'd expect him to counter Martin effectively and often.

The same as what though ? He’s looked bad against everyone since the first Wilder fight besides Cojanu even Flores where many think it was a intentional flop . I think it’s a even fight but Martin should be able to take over in the late rounds . It all depends if Martin applies pressure if he doesn’t he loses .

Good fight. I like Ortiz by KO.

Ortiz is a level above Martin skill-wise but a 42-year old man coming from a 14-month layoff doesn't sound so good. Let's hope Ortiz is motivated for this fight and comes in good shape.

Southpaw vs southpaw is pretty uncommon among notable heavyweights.

                    - -Ortiz never took much punishment vs Deyonce other than the KOs. Martin may have spaketh as a god, but would've lasted 1/4th as long and never would've had Deyonce in trouble.
