While I do think GGG got screwed on that 1st Canelo fight the truth is that outside Canelo and Jacobs he never challenged himself against Andrade or Charlo, I'm very possitive that he fought Jacobs because he was forced to and he fought Canelo because of the payday, nothing wrong with it, but to be 100% objective Golovkin hasn't till today fought another undefeated champion.

On the other side Canelo has fought champions which imho speaks volumes about him wanting to be great, don't get ir wrong and I will say it again, GGG got robbed, no lie on there but he also did not fought more top competition besides Canelo and Jacobs. GGG might've beat Canelo in the eyes of most of us but his legacy will never surpass Canelo, that's what I think.
I agree with you and yes Canelo is challenging himself more and has arguably already achieved more than GGG but this is with in my view the probable use of PEDs and of course GGG has bested him mano et mano.
Also GGG is just truly a charming gentleman and an assassin in the ring and Canelo is only one of those, as a person he lacks the character to show respect to his opponent too often.

So I guess my point is IMO it's smart PED use that allows him to move up in weight so well and that I vastly prefer GGG as a person and I enjoy his relentless spartan skills and natural power at least as much as Canelo

Indeed. But GGG isn't there anymore. He'll get retired in a 3rd match. Like all, once great, old boxers who fight too long past the expiration date and fight an elite opponent.

Why would Canelo look better in the second fight thant the first one where supposedly he was on clem.
He wasn't on the clen in the first fight though was he? He packed on muscle along with a bit of excess fat to fight Chavez Jr at 164lbs and Golovkin at MW from the 155lb catchweights he was fighting at. The problem was he wasn't carrying the added weight well and we all saw the stamina issues he suffered in the first fight from as early as round six. It seems clear to me he used clenbuterol in the build up to the second fight to help burn the unwanted fat in his body in an effort to improve his stamina throughout the fight.

Eric Gomez at Goldenboy and Bob Bennet at the Nevada State Athletic Commission are blatantly both corrupt scumbags so I personally think they colluded to allow Canelo the time he needed to be in optimal condition to face Golovkin. Yes, on the face of it they slapped him with a six month ban but in that time of inactivity I believe Canelo used or was finishing using clenbuterol to get rid of that excess fat that was hindering his performances. It wasn't really a coincidence that his ban expired on 31st of August just in time for the rematch on Mexican independence weekend in Serptember. That whole situation was schemed.

Like you say Canelo was able to carry out his game plan and fought better in the rematch - we didn't see him blowing or having any stamina issues as he had done in previous fights in the past.

Golovkin literally beat Canelo you clown , everyone except for Adelaide Byrd and a couple of other feeble minded old farts saw it.
Canelo is just from a way more marketable demographic as a Mexican and the chemistry is strong with him

Props to Canelo for moving up with scientific nutritional enhancement but I can't diss a champion for staying at the weight he naturally belongs at. Its up to others to dethrone him.
You do realize ggg barely does 2 weeks vada & is the only fighter his size who has been able to stay at mw his entire career?(no you're another of those revisionist fanbois)

Yeah fighters who win get told by their lifelong trainer they lost all the time...sure, just like fighters who win run out of the ring crying, fire their entire team, change their name, change style to what they called coward style entire career & disavow "meksikan stylee" all the time....

Lol what an idiot statement, its called discipline, there are tons, look at Hagler , GGG is a true spartan between fights, his frame is perfectly suited to the weight
