he is not fighting anyone in their prime that's African American and athletic.
Saul "The Anglo-Assasin" Alvarez. This guy has beaten the anglos to a pulp.

Yeah I can't see Canelo dropping lower than 168 it's too hard on his body now hes looking at 175
Maybe if Charlo was a bigger star he might
I think Canelo stops Beterbiev and vs Bivol is an interesting fight
GGG is a middleweight great and was the better man vs Canelo but he's old nowP to the J likes this.

Canelo has said he would gladly retire BBB side but that Hearn has to come correct for him to do it.
Probably has to guarantee him more than Haymon did for Plant, so $40 million plus and only at 168.
Not sure DAZN is in that position right now and I don’t think a third fight does that well on PPV.

Fights nothing but fringe contenders once a year. Doesn't unify the division. Doesn't move up. His last fight, he went 12 with a guy that Munguia KO'd in 2. And somehow he's deserving of a PPV showdown with Canelo? Someone explain that logic.
"But but Yildrim". Ok then Charlo should get a Yildrim type payday. He should get some 800K for the Canelo. Some 95/5 type deal. Because that's what he deserves.
Charlo needs to fight Benavidez first early next year. Winner gets Canelo in the fall.
GGG/Canelo 3 in May. Unfinished business and at least GGG is unifying 2 belts at 160. Something Charlo has no intention of doing.

Most fans wanted a 3rd fight but Saul decided he wanted to challenge himself against Rocky Fielding.
Not that I’m bothered how much money’s in it, I just want to see them fight, but I see more reasons why Canelo wouldn’t want to get involved than reasons why he would.Last edited by P to the J; 11-14-2021, 02:07 PM.
