They'll be lucky if they even come close to 300k buys. No one is talking about the fight outside of the boxing community which is a shame because it is a good fight but not one that belongs on PPV specially with that atrocious undercard

He's dreaming; At $70 please? I say this fight maxes out at 200K. If he wanted to sell between 500K -1.5M he would have cut the cost. Neither of these guys have the type of followers or crossover fans to generate that kind of revenue.

300K is a good number because all he spent was $10M on this fight. So he will easily make a profit from it. He should gross close to $30M or more on this fight; When including the revenue at the live gate. That is 3X what the fight was actually worth. So he shall able to consider it a success.

Yeah, 300K might be optimistic, never mind the upper range of Bob’s fantasy. I don’t think Arum or Bud himself realizes how much they’ve turned off fight fans with their prima Donna bull****. Not saying it’s all Bud’s fault because it’s not, but I think they’ve all (TR, PBC, Crawford, Spence) squandered the chance to make near Canelo level money. They’ll still make money, but neither will ever be close to a major PPV draw and I’m sort of happy about that.

I like Bob Arum, but the old man is hitting the bottle of Manischewitz a little to hard with that claim.

Truth is this fight will sell a solid 350k to upper 400k ppv max. Imo for those two it’s a solid number as they are far from being cash cows in boxing. Absolutely it will be 325k on the low end and 475k on the high end.

I’m actually going to buy this one.

Im not a fan of PPV but I have bought many throughout the years. I just find myself buying less recently.

I’m buying this one to support Shawn and am hoping for a good fight!

Should be on Showtime Championship Boxing and not PPV....

Idk why Bob has been putting out these insane projections lately lol. Remember when he said FuryvsWilder 2 was gonna do 2million buys lol

He’s been in this business for a lifetime & he knows the current trend of where PPVs are falling so he can’t possibly believe these numbers for two guys who don’t have the biggest fan bases

its like he’s making the eventual flop worse by inflating these expectations

Hahahahaha, I doubt it does the low end of his projections. Great main fight but horrible undercard, unless I missed an announcement. 250-350k is my guess.
